M1 Smoky - I need Tips

I just got the M1 Smoky seeing the M0 Smoky's potential. But I suck with the M1 Smoky and was actually way better with M0. Why is this the case? What hull should I use with it? Any tips or tricks with the Smoky? What is the Smoky meant to do?

The smoky is meant for guerilla warfare. Try to hide and bounce back and forth behind cover between shots. Also, to help you further, what particular aspect of using the turret are you having trouble with? Is it aiming?

Maybe, since you're playing better-ranked players, the hull is what you need. (People drug more) So, I (sometimes) use all 3 with Mammoth m1 and Smoky m1. Smoky m1 , railgunm1 , and freeze m2 are my main weapons. My hulls are viking m1, and mammoth m1. Just some tips if you need any. 

 

   Also, try to save up your crystals if you can.

Hm, it seems people keep stealing my kills and I never get credit for it. I kill people but not very much if my teammates there. However, the enemy also usually kills me first :(. I miss a few times.

save up for m1 thunder(but wait for a 50% sale)... its almost twice as powerful as m0... I plan to buy m2 at the next sale

Smoky is very OP at your level. The best way to use it is, for instance, you are playing at highland and there is a thunder on your team. It normally takes 4 shots to kill m0 hornet with m1 smoky. shoot the hornet once and let the thunder shoot him once before you shoot him again to finish him off. Try pairing your smoky with m1 mammoth and watch your points and d/l soar. I have a lesser ranked account that is the same rank as you and I win every battle with my m1 smoky.mammy combo. give it a few days and you will catch on quickly and start to enjoy it more.

You sure M1 Mammoth is good? I actually planned to get M1 Titan with it because I like speed but I'll get the M1 Mammoth instead now. I used to use Wasp, but then my aim kept getting knocked off by enemy shots. So now I use Viking, I must say it's good. :) however since you're obviously way higher in rank I will listen :). Umm somky is good with a viking, mammoth for DMs is awesome

For smoky is good mammoth, smoky is useful in low-ranked TDM battle, just be first who shot tank and you can gain lot of EXP and.. win battle=crystals :) I use m1 smoky with m1 mammoth (+Mary ^_^) and I win every TDM that I join, but you can't win with m1 smoky against generalissimos with m3 hulls

Of course you can't win against M3 Hulls :P. Thanks for all the advice, people have been telling me to get M1 Mammoth, so I will. However, I like collecting those 10 crystal things, I can't with a slow Mammoth :(.

You are right, collecting boxes is harder with mammoth, but win is win and everyone respects players that won battle, and from battle you have EXP+crystals :)

Play TDMs, or know how much of each gun's shot kills each hull and shoot accordingly.

Like let M1 Hunter/Hornet take a M1 rail and then shoot, for example.
