   parkour is very fun especially if ur the one jumping,when u reach on a building with omp or parkour its so satisfying but when u fail feels like u just wanna give up there are so many parkour tricks trhat people have come up with there will be much more fun parkour in the future ( not the map xD ) tanki should bring back more old maps so there is more maps to conquer and moon silience would be epic

I was low rank when that map was in the game so I didn't had much fun with it, sad that it got removed. One can only hope...

So I was thinking that since alterations can affect gameplay, then they might also affect parkour in a way, some can be beneficial while others can be a setback.

 

 

So what do you think are great for parkour and which ones are a no go zone? :)

Depends on what role you are doing in that map/battle whether you are the one jumping, the one backing up others, supporting one, the one who just puts mines for others if needed and so on.  I personally think Hammer's alteration in general are useful. If the team doesn't want to spend couple health on that Parkour than for sure one Isida would help a lot, having the alteration for Isida that gives you 5 more seconds is not really that useless so it kinda is ok in a way I guess.

 

Now when we come down to these Turrets Freeze, Fire and few others for example, they aren't useless but I don't think their alterations is really mandatory thing in order to do the trick.

Public parkour battles Are not always real parkour, it is often just some random tankers who think that flips in space mode are parkour. 

If you observed harder and more original parkour, it may, seem as if they are wasting their time, but they are not. When you invest a lot of time into a trick, that moment is very harsh, but when you succeed, you will be happy. 

Plus, parkour is not about killing, unlike other battlles

Just watch some parkour videos on youtube (like this one) and you'll see what parkour mode is made for. Yeah many people use it in different ways, but the reason parkour mode was created is for the ones that actually do parkour.

Well that is what I was led to believe by the various videos you see in VLOG. I even tried to watch some of the Parkour tournament video. (But I guess they had to re-start that?? Anyway.)

 

But the few times I joined a Parkour map I started taking fire right away. No one seemed to care I was there or if they did it was to shoot me. So I started sjhooting and going for flags and then I thought ... wait why am I doing this for no exp and no Cry?? Since it happened each time I was completely confuzed by the whole thing.

 

So I guess I just chose one of those noob Parkour maps you mentioned.

Most (if not all) of the public parkour battles end up not being much beyond just messing around, the only way you can get into serious parkour is find friends that want to do some serious parkour and try doing some tricks with them in a private battle without randoms joining and starting to fool around and shoot each other. It's sad, but that's the way public parkour battles are.
