Tips on thunder gameplay

Hey guys! Can you guys please share the tips, tactics ANYTHING! You know about the turret, thunder with me? Also what kinda hulls does this turret mostly match with ? I'm currently using a m0 thunder with m1 mammoth hull. Is this a good combo ? Please share your ideas with me :)

I have same hull

 

experience:

when you have low hp selfdestruct

when you are frozen selfdestruct

when you are too close to opponent selfdestruct

when you are shooting, shoot near targets so they don't run away before you kill

when you are shooting a buch of tanks, count on the hits they receive, and give them one fatal shot to kill them all

when you are moving, go through long roads without much hiding spots, this give you advantage over rail, firebird, freeze and shaft

This is all the tips i can give you about thunder xD

Tips:

If a tank is charging at you, move back while firing, so that it takes longer for them to reach you and cause you self-damage

If you're low on health and know you can't get another kill, self destruct by shooting at a wall. This stops another player from finishing you off for an easy kill.

Learn how many shots it takes to destroy each hull, and count your shots so that you can work out how easy it'll be to kill your opponents.

If there's an isida/firebird/freeze quickly killing you at short range, wait until they are just about to destroy you, and then shoot at them, and the splash damage will self-destruct you. This will stop them from getting the kill, and will annoy them too :)

Ok, im a pro with thunder so i can give you some tips.

 

If your looking for a way to self destruct easily shoot le wall

 

Dont Go head on into a freezes path, you will get terminated alomst instantly if the freeze survies getting to you, you will either get a fast death or a self destruction,

 

Not the best gun for capping flags with, because if theres any close combat you will hurt yourself

 

Used best with a heavy hull, light hulls wont survive long and its fatal if  you hit yourself

 

Get an average of the length of 4tanks from your enemy for best results,

 

Look for groups of enemies, so the splash damage will hit them all at once,

 

Shoot a wall beside your enemy or above, or just shoot the ground beside him to damage him if you cant hit him directly

 

Dont bite off more then you can chew, meaning dont run into the enemys front lines when they overpower you,

 

Avoid freezes all the time.

When using Splash-damage correctly, no enemy is safe from you. It's just most people (Not all!) don't use Thunder to its full potential. Remember, it's not a neat weapon. It's a messy weapon with its splash-damage! If you want neat and accurate, then you're looking for its counter-part Smoky. For Thunder, you don't need to score a direct hit to damage- unlike Smoky!

Thunder is best suited for mid range maps, so yes, silence and iran are good choices. Thunder loses power at long range, so serphurov probably isn't the best map, for example.

Everything Destroy-U said is correct, I would like to add: Use splash damage, but in your case when you have Thunder I cant say that
