What's with the issue of being disqualified if you change your image? I find that rather nonsensical, if the end date is at a certain point, you should be able to change your image as you wish until that date. Unless you are judging them as you go along, it really doesn't seem necessary.

We will start doing preliminary judging as it progresses. It may seem unnecessary but changing your entry is not necessary. Entering the contest with one entry then deciding to make another after seeing competition or by error is impractical. Why not wait until later in the contest to post? You should really only get one chance. It goes against the basic idea of the contest; you enter with the best image you can create, you shouldn't have to change your entry.

I agree there is a disappointing amount. Thankfully i created mine and it is not plagiarized because i made my own custom paints for it

How is using a not custom made paint plagiarism?

And mods 90 percent of the good entries got the wallpaper form the Internet (meaning they get the wallpaper from the Internet and simply copy paste a tank in it, and the post it here)

I hope that none of those pics win anything because  no work was put into it

Yup, which I said was allowed, and it is not required to make a custom paint. People are taking images that were made previously and putting their name on it; what people are being disqualified for. Lower quality images (like backgrounds with a few things pasted on with little effort) have less chance of wining. We are looking for quality works.

There is no required size there is a maximum size. You can have it a small as you want, as long as it doesn't exceed 1280x1024

 

Would also like to point out that taking a previous image that is Tanki related (like this dq'ed entry for example was this)and editing it is considered plagiarism.
