Some maps have disappeared?

By that, I meant to try and describe the map in more detail. If you remembered the map name, you'd obviously know that's the one that disappeared. Common sense. All you gave was "oh it has arcs" which makes it almost impossible for people to guess the map in question. Luckily for you, I (along with others) were able to give a guess (which may or may not be right)

From the ranks Recruit to Second Lieutenant I see--4 maps that could be considered to "have archs"

 

Also, none of those members "guessed" the map you were talking about. Remaine was the only helpful member which gave you a specific answer ;) All the other members gave you 5-6 answers, but Remaine, being the first post, gave you the only legit answer that had one guess, and it was correct was it not? Along with that, he just wanted assurement he wasn't wrong, so he asked for something more descriptive to have that assurement. He also said please :) So relax and know we're not trying to critisize you, just be friends with you :)

There are many maps that have some sort of arc. That's been made explicitly clear by the fact the duration of people have listed more than one map. Therefore, it was not sufficient considering everyone apart from SuperNick (staff) and I (luckily) knew exactly what you meant. Hence why I said to be more elaborative. That way, it's easier for us to help you.

 

In this scenario here, you're getting all "bent out of shape" because I told you to be more elaborative like it's a really rude thing to say. If you can't remember anything else then that's all you had to say - then the rest of us and I would try to help you from what you've given us.

 

What you've said is irrelevant considering I know you didn't know the name of the map hence this question on the forum - that's all understandable.

 

But what I don't get is why you refuse to accept the answer I've given you because I've asked you to try and give more details next time round? That's nonsensical.

 

I think you should learn the meaning of sarcasm because you're using it contextually incorrect right now. Though my second response did have sarcasm toward the end, my first one didn't and you said "your answer" which implies to me that you were talking about my answer to help you.

 

Finally, I've a question for you - tell me what exaxtly is wrong with asking someone to, essentially, put more detail in what they say the next time they ask for help? Because surely, that would only help the future problems.

Arch has stated popular maps that have been removed. I believe that I can answer a few ones why.

1. Moon Silence.

The most popular map in Tanki. Was removed due to cheating. Since, it was very popular, Devs gave a whole week to play in it and a very good Gold Box amount when playing in it. 

2. Platform:

It was removed due to the creator's request.

3. Madness:

It was removed due to the same cheating case. Although this map was removed a long time ago.

It was removed due to unpredicatbility of cheating. Meaning, many tanks could go to many high places, but developers didn't know if they got up there by parkour, or by hacking. The new

anti-cheat software just wouldn't allow it in addition and more importantly

 

2. Platform:

It was removed due to the creator's request.

Correct, but it was removed because the creator realized Tanki put the wrong drop spots on the map, and because he didn't like it, he wanted it removed.

 

3. Madness:

It was removed due to the same cheating case. Although this map was removed a long time ago.

This was removed last year. I don't consider that a "long time ago". I consider Shaft's release a "long time ago". It was removed for a similar reason to Moon Silence.

Thank you. I talked about Gallery and Platform. These two maps were very cool. I know for the other, I was here for the Moon Silence with 3000 Gold Boxes.

I cought only 1 gold 3000 on moon silence, but it's better than nothing, thought I only gained those crystals back that I spent on Moonwalker paint, lol.

 

I almost cought a gold on my secondary acc in Gallery, if I had only ran faster and pushed that dictator noob out of the way with my mammoth...

 

Platform was my favourite of the 3rd library prop maps but I don't get why it was removed. Never seen a gold there, thought. And I think the reason they removed it was because some people would start demanding moon silence's gravity in that map, like me :P
