Generally I am very annoyed by games that don't let you configure your keys, especially if they force you to use the BIG SLOW SPACE button . Fortunately using some keyboard remaping software I changed the LEFT WINDOWS KEY to SPACE , I find it together with ZX for the left hand (I drug rarely...) and the arrows comfortable for me and I don't mind loosing the left Win key...

This may be implemented into the game in the near future,though having to configure your controls could be a risky task.But for now,post it here.

Middle finger - Up arrow key and down arrow key

Second finger- Left arrow key

Fourth finger- Right arrow key, Pg up & Pg dn

(Left hand) Second finger- X & spacebar

(left hand) Middle finger- Z (when second finger is busy with spacebar) & X. 

That's how I do it, very comfortable for me. :)

I have been using a laptop where the Pg Up/Pg Dn keys are in the upper right corner, far away from the arrow keys, and I had no idea that I could use the Q and E keys for the camera as well! Thanks for the help. ^_^

I use none of these options... O.o I have always since I've started tanki done WASD, ".,/", and q and e. in my opinion that is the most effective and very few tanki players use it.

I have a Slovenian keyboard, as I live in Slovenia, so this is how I use:

 

Up & Down Arrow - Middle Finger (right hand)

Left Arrow - Index Finger (right hand)

Right Arrow - Ring Finger (right hand)

X - Ring Finger (left hand)

C - Middle Finger (left hand)

Z - Index Finger (left hand)

Q - Ring Finger (left hand)

E - Index Finger (left hand)

Spacebar - Thumb

I have been playing for 3 years and i use one of the most strangest combinations ever!

It is very efficient for beating your opponent's reaction time to shoot when coming out of hiding, e.g. thunder or railgun duel, but it takes a long while to master if you have been using an alternate keyboard combination. After looking at this combination below, you may be surprised when i say that I am right handed, but for two and half years of using this combo, I can say that in my opinion it benefits right-handers more than left-handers (especially for reaction time based shooting battles).     

Well enough of my blabber ... HERE IT IS:

 

Left Hand:

Thumb - Free

Second  Finger - D/E/X/Z/C (E whilst moving up/down and turning left and/or shooting; C,X and Z whilst moving) 

Third (Middle) Finger - W/S

Fourth Finger - A/Q (Q whilst moving up/down and turning right and/or shooting ) 

Fifth (Little) Finger - Free/Tab/ (Tab to show score board whilst moving or shooting)

Btw, since my Pg Up and Pg Down keys are very close to my arrows, i was initially using arrow keys with Z and X turret controls and Pg Up/Down camera controls as a neat combo when i first started tankionline...

my right hand fourth finger is no fast but the left hand is better in moving up and down ( perhaps of the chores I do)

 

 

and I like to ask a question from higher rankers do you guys use reverse driving in normal play? i mean without moving forward? (I'm horrible at driving cars)

I also like turning round and driving backwards, actually! I think why it's better than driving forward is because the weapon is right near the front of your hull. Thus, when you round corners and the like, the turret is more prepared to shoot. That's my logic behind driving backwards. It also enables smooth turns rather than having to "stop and turn around".

I have  trouble playing with freez,firebid and isida and I use arrows keys I can not shoot when truning left and when I try to use other contraolls becames extremely difficult
