I think better titles should be used for the leagues. Being a League of Legends player... I suggest something like theirs. Im not saying to adopt their elo/partition system, just the titles. But I will include those details as well. The leagues themselves are divided into divisions (except challenger), but because each league only has a relatively small number of individual entities, there would be no need for that.

Bronze - Lowest tier (Bottom 29% of players)
Silver - Second lowest tier (30% - 72% percentile of players)
Gold - You get the point now (73% - 90% percentile of players)
Platinum - (91%- 97% percentile of players)
Diamond - (98% - 99% percentile of players)
Challenger - (Top 50 Players)

Since tanki only plans on having 4 leagues, I think the leagues should be labeled as Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond. Although challenger would be more fitting than diamond in respect of how Riot (the developers of League of legends) uses it, I think that would be copying League of Legends way too much.

clan licenses are cancelled: from now on each newly

created group will be a clan

Hello semyon too many ambiguities. You didn't mention about current working teams . What about them? Will they move to clan section after new rules applied? Will there no tournament for teams held in future? What about those members who have m1 combos.?

The tournaments for clans is only for m3's or it will be for m2's as well?

Yes.

Will there no tournament for teams held in future?

Well, since all teams will be clans, then there will be no tournament for teams, but rather clans.

What about those members who have m1 combos.?

If all or even the majority of players on a team (which will be known as a clan) have m1 combos--o.O they don't really deserve to be a clan. However, those teams (if there's any) will go to League 4.

The tournaments for clans is only for m3's or it will be for m2's as well?

There will be League 4 tournaments :)

I would like to say that I am in a very active clan and I think that I can speak for every member when I say that being in a clan is the best experience you can archive in Tanki.

In this International community, we have members from all around the globe, our skype chat is active almost 24 hrs a day, web site, forum activity, and every member has worked together to make this happen.

And, we’re all ready to Kick the Tyres.

Further to having more than 15 members in a clan,

The whole purpose for 4 tiers is to make tournaments that are geared to players of different levels of skill and garage to participate competitively in tournaments.

I would say that a clan could put together a squad for M2 tournaments and a squad for M3 tournaments if they have the member base to produce two squads.

T4 squad would play only M2 tournaments

T3 would play M3 tournaments

T2 would be the best 32 squads coming from T3 Squads from all clans

And T1 (TOP LEAGUE) would be the best 16 T2 clan squads

These players would have a special designation in their clan as elite Top League members of the clan. This way all clans can continually train future elite players from within their organisation. Any changes to the members of the squad may only come up from one level below so a T2 player may move up to  a T1 player.

Clans can be in two Tiers, ie: Clan A has a squad of 15 m2 players in T4 and a squad in T3, Clan B has a squad in tier 3 and one in tier 2,  Clan C might only have a T2 squad, etc...

No squad may be less than 10 members or more than 15 members and each Squad in a clan will have a designation such asTop Gun" [TG] T3 Squad and [TG] T4 Squad".

This will ensure that active clans can maintain a strong base for the long run.

Now both teams and clans are called teams clans and are divided into 4 leagues:

Thanks for re-editing and taking care of the confusion there :)

Changes in timing of battles and way of defining the winner:

  • If it is a tie after 4 rounds in play-off, penalty is played.

Please note that "penalty" is the wrong english term to use in this case.  penalty means something else in english.  Terms you want to use here are "extra-time" like in football or more appropriately "decisive round/s"

Players:

  • In the near future we are planning to cancel the clans registration process. But as long as it's all done in the forum, we don't have any options to improve. That is why monthly transfer windows will still take place.
  • When registering a clan, you no longer need to collect confirmation messages from players (however, players still need to leave them when joining the clan).

1st line Monthly Transfer Windows staysok-sign-smiley-emoticon.gif

2nd line = upon rolling out the new upcoming rules for CS 2.0 please make sure there is a clause /clauses clearly stating that leaders cannot declare someone as a member of their clan without the person's approval.  I think the " I am in this clan " policy should continue on and there is no valid reason here as to why it should be discarded.  If you do have please disclose it for further discussions in this thread.

1st line planning to cancel the clans registration process. But as long as it's all done in the forum, we don't have any options to improve.  = ok you completely lost me there, please rephrase this bit.

more coming soon !

One big objection comes to mind: Why on earth have the clan rules changed AGAIN, so soon after the other rules came in for goodness sake?

@Lankbouv

So that essentially there's no division between great teams and poor clans (won't name examples), now everyone's a clan and a league is the division. All "clans" that have less than 6 members with an m3 combo are league 4. Every clan that has 6 members or higher with an m3 combo, will be league 3 (which is where most clans will be placed), league 2 and league 1 is where the most elite clans are. (League 1 will be 100% Russian). Also, now English League 3 clans can face Russian league 3 clans knowing both clans are below top 32 clans, thus not being too too good. This system will be easier for everyone, touraments included ;)

Excellent idea. I hope it'll be considered by the CS team, if they read it ^_^
