Completed New Ranks in the Future?

As most of you are aware, micro-upgrades are on the way. The reason for this topic is to see how you feel about adding new ranks to accommodate the upgrades above M-3. For example: If upgrading an M-2 will make it come close to an M-3, but not the equivalent of an M-3. Then it is only fair to assume that an upgraded M-3 with be close to that of the M-4, which doesn’t exist at the moment. Being at the rank of Generalissimo, this assumption is a reality, with the possibility of M-4. If this does occur, should there be ranks above Generalissimo? What do you think?

 

P.S. Any suggestions, as to what the (3) new ranks should be called?

I think its a good idea, it will differenciate all the generalissimos who bought the rank from those who actually earned it. One problem though... any ranks past Generalissimo?

I found 2, Supreme Allied Commander and Commander-In-Chief, although they have the same height as a Generalissimo

No rank exists above generalissimo. It is THE highest rank in the world. Nothing above it. I personaly don't want a higher rank because I think getting 1.4 million xp will take long enough

"Yes! Sounds good to me!" As for titles? Seeing how the rank of Generalissimo is the highest obtainable rank. Why not change the rank design? In the center of the Generalissimo insignia there is a ruby. If there is to be three more ranks, put a diamond in the middle of the highest ranking Generalissimo, an emerald in the middle of the second to the highest and a sapphire in the third highest. Of course the existing Generalissimo will still have a plain ruby.

Or, have a couple ranks before like sub-lieutenant, before WO5 and GrandMarshal after marshal and then make everyone go down a rank or 2 to fit those ranks in

Or just change the names of some of the existing ranks and squeeze some ranks with new names in between, then make new ranks with the highest one being Generalissimo again. (But then reached at 2 000 000 xp for example)

Although Generalissimo is the highest military rank, there are different degrees of seniority. The insignia's could be adjusted, to show that variation.

Kind of like a real star rank general i.e. a 4 star general is higher than a 3 star...That is a good idea!

I personally wouldn't like any more ranks - I'm far away from Generalissimo as it is. As for the name (if they decide to add another rank), I think it should still be one word. Marshal used to be the highest rank and it had just one word. The last ranks having one word in them just adds that end of game "twang".

I don't think it is actually a good idea if there are new ranks...(In my opinion).
