Thunder m3 Under Powered?

Thunder and Twins were the big, strong and, powerful weapons for most. But as the upgrades come thunder losses power at m3, but twins gains the most power.  M3 twins on other had is Over Powered.  Why did thunder loose so much power? Maybe micro upgrades will make it stronger and twins weaker?

Twins M3 was really bad before rebalance, it was not used at high ranks because rico would overpower it :P

By the way, thunder is still really good.

Yes but when MU's come out, it will be good again. I max-MU'd M3 Thunder in the test server, and it was more OP than ever.

It deserves to be underpowered since M1 and M2 are so overpowered. Thunder is just a deeply average gun. I played couple of games with Thunder M3 in the test server. Tbh, it's hard to earn frags in it. Railgun ftw!

By it just gaining 5hp it is not much more than m3. I love thunder and its my favorite weapon. I used m3 is test server and it seemed weak it. took so many shots to take down one tank

If they don't bump the dmg (currently 5 from m2 to m3) ... at least increase splash damage for m3 thunder, or something like that
I fully agree with you ... I believe Thunder should be one of the mighty guns in the game, but it's too under powered for that

P.S: You just go check my screenshots against Gissmos on NS battles when i was all m2 still...there are on FatalTank's profile....from my exp in this game..i'm honestly saying to you that NO turret or hull would stand a chance against hornet-thunder combo IN Sandbox...unless it had emerald paint on it. On NS battles against gissmos i remember counting 6 out 8 players with anti-thunder paints...if they were without those paints....even mammys would be useless against a skilled thunder. Those paints really do a HUGE diff....and thunder is clearly THE most feared turret in the game...and THAT'S WHY high ranked guys nerf (wisely) it with emeralds and rustles.

It isn't - the recharge gets pretty darn quick. You'll get that solid 72-85 (I think it is) damage one by one.

A more recent performance with Thunder against highest ranked people (Gens). As you can see from the score, a Thunder user can still do well with M3 Thunder. So the turret is just great, you just need to learn how to use it properly cause at those ranks you gonna face even more skilled players.

Not even close...only reload is fully MUed, then dmg is 15/25, all the rest are done 1 stage max. I see your point, but you forget that MUs are not for me only. Especially if my opponents are Generalissimo rank....they have probably done double my MUing. So no, Thunder is really a powerfull turret.
