Hi,..

 

The shaft must be DELETED!,

 

You can kill 3 m3 mammoths with Double armor and Jade In one hit + you don't need (Double Power) to kill him

 

if the game will really be like that forever i will never play again

Im confused when people say this, I was on the test servers last night and it sounds as if it was the same as how you all see it now... (I havent been on yet because overloaded servers..) but the damage was not changed the last time I saw it? In order to 1 Shot kill an M3 Mammoth with jade + double armor... shaft would need like 500 damage... I dont understand where these extreeme shaft comments are coming from, last night all I saw about shaft is that it had a quick-fire ability (not really quick) of 8.7 reload speed, for 92-108 damage or so. Like an M1 railgun. How does this kill an M3 mammy with jade in a hit...? Perhaps ill log on and see for myself if the servers will free up some space...

Shaft does 195-214 damage........... M3 Hunter has 216 HP... M3 Viking has 243 hp... M3 Dictator has 255 HP.. Titan M3 with 335, and Mammy M3 with 380 HP.

 

How does that possibly kill any tank in 1 shot....????????  It only kills wasp and hornet... and if they have a strong paint protection such as Jade, they can survive easily... Shafts damage is not overpowered. Also, shaft can no longer make railgunners miss their shots every time, with a fast reload speed by shooting the corners of a railgunners hull every time he's about to charge up a shot, because it takes longer to charge for shaft... it has no quick-fire mode.

 

Shaft is now like a railgun, but its much harder to aim, and it has waaay lower turning speed. I think railgun will still be used alot actually, if shaft is left the way it is.

 

Shaft is harder to use, its the skill-weapon now, whereas railgun used to be one of the harder weapons to use well. If a shaft misses a shot (which will happen alot if you're not good with it due to higher enemy hull speeds) then you're screwed and you're defenseless. All shots must be fired with caution so you know you're safe after taking a shot. In scope mode, you cant see others around you... this is another negative thing about shaft. Its damage isnt OP... and when people use Jade or Picasso or Winter, shafts damage actually feels fairly low.

 

 

Edit: Wasp feels much better now! Its increased turning speed to 130 now makes it feel more unique from the hornet. It increases the skill required to use it effectively as well! This is also good. I am seeing more variety amongst the hulls, to fit the tastes of different players styles now. Its wonderful! When I first started playing, there wasnt as much variety in the feeling of each hull. They just felt 'slower, more hp.' 'faster, less hp.' But now it truly feels like each hull has character! Hornet can drift! Wasp has amazing turning speed for the ability to dodge bullets easier! Shaft can be used while camping or on the move! Mammoth is now a defensive fortress as it should be, and Titan is the attackers heavy hull! Dictator has nice turning speed and

 

SECOND EDIT: Yes, Shaft is indeed currently bugged... you were right... its a 1 shot kill at M0 on an M3 mammoth.... But Im sure they will fix this soon, obviously this is a mistake and it will not be left this way. Once it is fixed to proper damage as it says on the stats though, everything will be correct.

 

Third Edit: YES THANK YOU! You fixed shafts problem where you cannot aim when people jump on top of you! Now it can scope even if your teammates are on your head. This is good! It was a huge problem before, especially when people did it purposely just to annoy you, constantly jumping on your head whenever they could to mess you up. Ive missed countless shots due to my teammates hopping on my head, trolling me.

and it will be the death of shaft :( the 8 sec reload sucks major monkey balls and when it gets its correct power it will be ...

guys i had planned to upgrade firebird to m2 but in test servers its loading time is to much since i last tested it are tanki team trying to ruin my dream gun so sad they had to nerf every thing this not fair :angry:

Everything but the bug with Shaft seems just about perfect! Good job Tanki team!

 

Hulls HP/Speed seems balanced when considering each characteristic, advantage, and disadvantage that they have. +1

 

Weapons (aside from shafts bug) seem balanced, Rico is now able to compete with the other weapons. Smoky/Thunder were unchanged, which is good. Twins seems like it can compete with rico/the other weapons. The short range weapons are all useful in their own way, and balanced as they should be. Railgun is still very useful when used properly, and if you play it right, it can own shaft, especially up-close. All you gotta do is stay out of the sights. Railguns turret rotation speed is much better now! It can easily be used on heavier hulls now. +1

 

Mines aren't too crazy, like they were 2 months ago during the new physics testing, where a wasp would fly to the other side of the map if it hit one. The explosion force seems to be decreased a bit since last time, but still more forceful than the current physics in the real server! I approve. +1

not explosion force. The weight of the tanks became less. Like in the ramp if you shoot a dictator or wasp from the above, it would flip means overturn

shaft become more then op. You can use it like one shot non reloading gun like smokey. With a second in one shot i can kill m3 mammoth+ armor

Shaft's settings are incorrect at the moment, don't worry.

nope i like the speed and acceleration. You can even drift with hornet.  :P

 

the steering is major poo its way too twitchy the pivot point is the very back of the tank so steering sucks

 

some tanks are too light slightest collision with a wall/building/other tank or get shot while going at speed and you flip  (watching wasp go over mines is funny though)

 

traction reminds me more of ducks landing on a frozen pond

 

some tanks are too fast with nitrous and handling suffers

 

and after this update i think ill be a firebird user now :(

steering is a bit better now i plugged in the ps3 controler better than it was with the keyboard

shaft is too overpowered at m3 -_-

shaft without drugs can kill hornet m3 with drugs in one shot....

its messed up, shaft its not staying like that m0 shaft can kill multiple druggin m3 mammys with protective paint in one shot lol

Everyone got to agree with this

 

Shaft is too over powered. Okay it has to wait 11 seconds roughly to take a shot and shoot again. But does that mean that it can destroy a mammoth m3 in a full shot. That's stupid and even with jade it dies. Dam shaft op. Shaft is op shaft is more than op. Shaft is just over powered shaft is more than over powered it's unstoppable. Shaft is shaft and shaft is just too strong in test server.

Also acceleration is too much and the speed feels the same for dictstor wasp and hornet at m3

 

Something has to be done about this.

 

Lower acceleration. Lower shafts damage. The turning is fine
