The players should have never (not even in times past) been able to capture the flag so easily with the heaviest hull in the game... in small maps like Island, then yes of course thats fine, but in other maps... the mammoth has been OP for a long time, and they are finally fixing it to serve its real intended purpose. Titan will be the better attacking heavy hull, but logically it should be more difficult for a heavy hull, whether it be Titan, or Mammoth, to capture a flag, than a medium or light hull which were built for this task. I mean seriously, you don't send the fat kid out to make touchdowns for the football team. He instead is a defender, and keeps the other opponents at bay! The 350-400lb guy should NOT be running the length of the football field!  You send the other more athletic players out for this job.

And Tanki is not nerfing skilled players, you're right, thats not able to be done. They are nerfing an overpowered piece of equipment, so your skill can shine through more when you prove that you can use it effectively. Mammoth isnt the only one taking a hit here you know, freeze players will also be less effective (this in times past is the only thing that can easily stop a drugging mammoth, and it wont work as well since the freeze time is being drastically reduced! Heavy hull users who wish to capture flags in the future should be thankful of the freeze duration being weakened from 8 seconds to 4 seconds, so if you do actually make it to your base, against the odds, and they get ahold of your flag, they should have an easier time not having to worry as much about facing enemy freeze users who are on defense. The simple nerfing of freeze makes capturing flags easier for heavy hulls.

Either way the M-3 Mammoth will shut down whatever situation is presented! Five Mammoth base guards good luck getting through. I know for sure that the M-3 Mammoth users will deal with base guarding very well as they do now. The M-3 Mammoth will never go away! After the physics have been put in place, the lighter tanks have no more excuses ( right ?). Crying wolf is over! The lighter tanks will have to step up and produce! The lighter tanks will have to put their money where their mouth is! " I had to come up from the bottom with the same situation, and had to deal with it. So what makes anyone else different? "

P.S. So this is about capturing the flag... That's funny! You can capture the flag all day long if you want to. Maybe they should have never mixed the ranks the way they did. I'm happy to go against M-3 Mammoths, fully drugged, anything goes. "It's a better bloodier battle!"

I love the 3secsite start power an shaft but the y need to fix that glitch.

Ricoc is amazing. Twins to me is like good no more overpower twins, mammoth is good BUT if a titan and mammoth to go face to face in a puching match titan will win, how comes? Mammoth should be unpuchable when any tank try to puch it. And with mammoth low monver and speed mammoth should have more HP like about 400 for a M3. Players will NOT wanna use mammoth to any more, titan will be the.new heavy tank hero. Please TO TEAM make mammoth more playable, ciao.

If you notice, many American football teams utilize fullback heavyweights to move the ball forward and make touchdowns when a team is strapped (when other players aren’t holding up their end). This has also been the case in our games. For too long now, after rebalance, many smaller hulls have not pulled their weight. I can’t begin to tell you how many games I’ve been in where I think to myself, “I can’t be everywhere!”. The “Mam and Titan has taken up the slack for too long now. In my case. If Titan is to handle mid-field, with smaller hulls, then it will need more maneuverability than what I have experienced in the test server. Especially, if those smaller hulls continue to perform as usual.

In my opinion, there seems to be certain amount of discrimination against the larger hulls, especially Mammoth...Are drugee’s to blame (not to be mistaken with those who necessarily utilize drugs)?

Conclusively, I hope the smaller hulls are up for the task that has been held for so long by the “Mam and Titan”.

P.S. "Good Luck to you!"

Good! :) I never wanted it to go away at all, no one wants that here. That would be horrible if they removed it. I'm glad that they want it to have a more defined purpose, and I look forward to coming across many strong defenders and heavy hulls in the future! :D

No they can't, atleast I think so, if they can, then I want some proof.

http://test.tankionline.com/ Please read, players can be invited by testers.

"It is available to a group of testers and players that were invited by them, all of which have "Invite Codes". Sometimes, when there is a need for mass testing, the server is open for everyone.

The amount of crystals and your current rank on the test server may differ from the ones that you have on the main server. Everything that you earn on the test server will never be added to your account on the main one."

However i believe its quite rare though.

You can still capture some Flags with Mammoth possibly. Maybe a Light/Medium Hull makes it half-way with the flag, then you're able to step in and grab the flag, continuing the run.

And this time with Mammoths supposed ''mass,'' I doubt teammates blocking you will be a problem. Just run them over.

Just add a bit more Mass and/or Health to Mammoth and I'm fine with how it is. But right now, still I'm still disapproving it. :/

By the way, buff Hunter a bit and buff Railgun's pierce power and impact.

Now I'm just saving for Wasp. . .cause you know why. Light Hulls are going to be strong this time around.

P.S.: Hornet is definitely, most certainly, NOT slow. You must recognize the fact that it has the ''drift'' effect. Not to mention that its purpose is more stability as a light tank, which is the reason why you bought Hornet, and which also  means more mass. More mass means more weight, and more weight decreases your speed/acceleration. And the ''drifting'' effect makes it less likely for you to flip when turning by the way. So if you think Hornet is slow, maybe the ''drift'' effect and the consequences for stability is not right for you.

P.P.S: Also, maybe the reason why Test server could be closed right now is because they're fixing the Shaft bug or something.

P.P.P.S: And the people who run the ball don't always have to be Fast. They could be, like how Monkeyburn said, big heavyweights who can take hits and run people over.

Actually, DidYouKnowThat, the statement you quoted me on is taken out of context. My statement expresses the fact that Titan is no longer suitable for that task, from what I have experienced in the test server:  "If Titan is to handle mid-field, with smaller hulls, then it will need more maneuverability than what I have experienced in the test server."

Titan will be the better attacking heavy hull, but logically it should be more difficult for a heavy hull, whether it be Titan, or Mammoth, to capture a flag, than a medium or light hull which were built for this task. P.S. Lighter tanks I like my battle fund  15,000 -50,000 crystals so don't disappoint me. You guys better step and make it happen because 1000 crystals ain't going to cut for me!

Jerome Bettis...

Jerome Bettis only weighs 251lbs. Thats the equivalent of a Dictator M3 with 255 HP. He would be fully equipt for capturing flags... try googling someone who weighs 335, or 380 pounds though, and imagine them trying to capture a flag. The lighter football players at 150-200lbs (Wasp-Hunter) are the main people that should doing most of the traveling according to hull description.

Heres someone at 400lbs (Near mammoth m3 size) <- Click to see

Very different from Jerome Bettis.... imagine the guy in that picture above (Mammoth m3) trying to run the length of a football field without being taken down by the other players...(killed before making it back to the base and capturing the flag.)

Football was just a random example that popped into my head, because I couldnt think of another one. It was just supposed to be a small little comparison, wasnt supposed to be the focus of the post, but no problem haha.

That guy wouldn't cut it for driving tanks he'd just get stuck . I think he would make a better paratrooper but you would have to catapult him so the poor guy don't drop too hard   .
