Improvements in graphics

Very badly done. Lights apart, which are very nice. With power-graphic pc, I've got lower FPS, lagging and forwarding effects,worse objects definition. How is it possible that we all complain about this? Did you test the release before going public or is it a strategy to use players as testers? So far, I want old graphic back.

That's not us, that's mister Google Chrome most likely. Check this. If you use another browser, most likely you've enabled something that used to be off before the update in your settings.

U guys just cant figure out the setting ._. Lemme tell u. Turn off anti aliasing. Turn on dynamic lighting. Boom. Good fps with lighting but slightly worse quality. Well maybe im wrong. My comp isnt working and im not alllowed to fix it until my exams are over. Hut i think this is it

Could someone post or make a video on YT on how to get the new graphics? I know it'll take some time, but a lot of players can't access the new graohics at all and is lagging their games.

What I don't like about the new graphics is how they are causing my frame rate to be trippy.  I have 50-60 fps, but the frame rate trips every second, meaning that it freezes just slightly for a quick second.  I personally find it annoying, and sometimes my shots miss because of it.  It did not do this with the old graphics.

the colors are great, but the graphics look extremely grainy at long range viewing.  I would rather less color if it causes less resolution. any suggestion to resolve this would be appreciated.

So you can't access the new graphics if you have a s$%t computer? That's ironic, 'cause antialiasing is supposed to boost your FPS...

Yes they look bad with computers with no dynamic lighting option( like mine) but I noticed only in summer maps. In winter maps they look normal

An other, much more technical solution could be to make Mozilla Firefox to work as a RAM disk/drive.

This means that instead of loading from the slower harddrive/SSD, you load Firefox from/in your quick RAM memory.

The beauty is that Firefox has the option to make this happen in Firefox itself, so you do not have to use a buggy third-party programm at all!

 

Search it all out for yourself, because I don't want to be responsible in any way, sorry!

 

Just try to Google for Firefox and RAM and if you find something that includes "about:config" you are heading in the right direction.

The only major drawback is that you loose your browser history (as soon as you close Firefox, your history is gone because nothing can be stored on RAM).

I think this is just another benefit, because you do not clog your PC so much anymore, I myself never use history, but you can still bookmark which I find much more important.

 

It works like a charm (always around 60 fps) at my PC, but I can not give you any guarantee it will on yours.

 

Anymore Tanki players who have already done this at their PC?

The graphic isn't working! I have the setting switches in my settings area but it doesn't work all of a sudden. It worked before,and now,NOT working! What going on?! My friend also says it's not working!

That doesn't help the "tippy" behavior (spikes)

My comment was after Chrome configuration basing on your suggestions. Unfortunately for you, Chrome is a spreading standard.

More, it looks like tankers using other browsers experienced difficulties, too. Hence, since 3 browsers cover 90% of users, it should be worthy on your side to publish a detailed guide, as you've done for Chrome, for each of them.

Colors are very vibrant now, I like that.

Though Smoky and Thunder explosions could use some saturation boosts aswell.
