How do you pronounce Combe?

Alright, may be an odd question, but I've been having terribly long arguments with people regarding the pronunciation of the map "Combe".

I pronounce it "comb", yet I've come across:

Com-bay

Com-bee

Cumb

So how do you pronounce it?

Same goes for things like Isida, Iran (do you pronounce it eye-raan, or i-ran?), Kungur.

comb (I could say it sounds like "come" with a long O sound, but that lookslike the word "come" of which sounds like "cum")
