Well depends where you come from - mainly its an English word for a valley and used in South West England,Somerset and Dorset.

I'm a Scot so I'd pronounce it KOOM - silent 'B' and 'E'

I'd reckon if I was from the west country that part of England  where the accent is profoundly different I'd pronounce it Cooome ooooaaaaarrrr

Bit late to the party I suppose, but I pronounce it as Koomb.

On the other elements of note, I pronounce Kungur the stupid Koong-ar and pronounce Isida the even more ridiculous Iz-dah

Well, pronunciation doesn't really relate too much to English ability. Just look at skit - a great ex-reporter, yet we've discovered here that the way in which he says 'Isida' is reminiscent of the pronunciation expected from a grunting troll xD In any case, it seems most people with British accents would say 'i-ran'. And I say 'aluminium'.

I pronounce Isida eye-sci-da... Which is weird...

The gun is named after the Slavic name of the ancient Egyptian goddess Isis (Изида), which explains why some people shorten it to Изя. So it would be logical to pronounce it like Izida.

Sometimes I don't even know how to pronounce Selena.

Why don't you just Google Selena Gomez or something? The stress is on the second syllable.
