Ok, so I ranked to Major and bought M2 Mammy. I went ahead to try it out with my M2 Thunder. However, before I used to always play with ranks Captain and under. Now, almost everyone is in M2 Mammoth with 300 HP. I was not getting the good K/D that I used to get, and it is really hard to get kills! I even switched to M2 Rail/M2 Mammoth, and that was only slightly better... Is this how all DM's go after Major?

Yes it will always be that way now that you are a Major. Basically everyone from where you are at now all the way until Geronalissimmo will use upgraded Mammy and a short range turret, most likely Freeze. If you want to do better on DMs like this, try laying mines and sniping with what you have already. If that's not working, forget everything I have just told you and go hardcore Firebird drugger. : ) One last bit of advice: try either drugging or laying mines everwhere in the map and then hiding while players are still joining For future reference, what other turrets and hulls do you have that are fairly good?

Personally I like to go M2 Wasp and M2 Railgun and make my way to that hidden sniping point that only Wasps and Hornets can get to. I usually win all those games too :D

yes,heavy hulls are popular after captain and thunder m2 is very good against non-protected,you just need some good timing and steal kills :lol:

Now you are playing with a higher level,before you were playing with players that may be less-prepared than you, that's why you were getting good results, but now the battle is even more challenging, you need to be a skilled player to get a good score :)

I totally agree with Hyperactive. Do not forget that lots of players will be using the Inferno paint job too, so don't use any turret that it will protect against. And Hyper my boy, you are so right about that Firebird strategy XD

honestly.. the way i getkills with a m1 combo :( ..is by camping in a corner .. honestly it kind of works.. but im not a drugger at all so its obvious that i wont be that good and congratz on ur ranking :)

Ok, I'm starting to get the hang of it. I use Thunder M2/Mammoth M2/Emerald and play in DM's up to Brigadier. I haven't seen a huge amount of M3 Thunders, so that's good. I can keep my D/L above one, and getting kills is a lot easier. However, one thing that I noticed is the teaming. It's like all the Twins don't shoot each other, the Rails stay together, and the Thunders avoid each other... Does this happen normally? They didn't even use the chat to coordinate..

yes twins users become friends when they are entered in the DM even if they never know each other. same with smoky. not sure about railguners and Thunders. i guess very rarely they team up because they used to get kills very hardly.

My fav map is polygon . I'm a Digital/titan m1/railgun m2 user and I gotta tell you an important advice . ALWAYS USE MINES IN POLYGON DM

Since you use mammy . Its slow , u'll need some protection . The mine provide you 170 damage +. Put about 5 and u'll be invinsible . 30 of my kills are from mines
