Update 205 — New Physics

Today we have released Update 205. The new physics have come to Tanki Online. Everything that you will see in the game is the result of more than 6 months of hard work. We tested dozens of concepts, conducted hundreds of tests, took into account thousands of your ideas and suggestions. This was a long way and we are happy with the result.

 

Light hulls are still light, heavy ones are heavy. But still a lot of things are now different, each hull received its own character, became truly unique.

 

Wasp. A very nimble and fast hull. Using its full potential requires a lot of experience and practice.

Hornet. Feels more like a sportscar. Can drift, have very smooth controls. High speed.

Hunter. The most balanced. First hull in the game. Easy to control, have average speed and good maneuverability.

Dictator. Don't let the looks of this brute fool you. This is an armored vehicle that is basically empty inside. Excellent maneuverability and acceleration for a medium hull.

Viking. A hull with the lowest silhouette which makes it difficult to hit. Average maneuverability and speed.

Titan. Most powerful hull in the game. A real tow car that can push any other tank from the map. Slow and clumsy.

Mammoth. Incredibly slow and well-protected hull. Turns slowly. The second in the list of heavyweights. Can push any other hull except for Titan.

 

By the way, Nitro now gives +30% to speed and +0.5 to acceleration.

Apart from the long-awaited physics, release 205 has also brought two changes that are difficult to see. Still, they are crucial for the game.

The first one is changes in the anti-cheat system, life of hackers should get a lot more difficult now.

The second one is aimed at reducing the amount of traffic between the server part and the client part of the game. So, our beloved servers should feel a lot better now and we couldn't be happier about it.

And why is Titan the heaviest hull in the game? Shouldn't that be Mammoth? Nothing else should be able to push Mammoth away. . . .

 

So I'm guessing that means Titan can push Mammoth away.

 

 

No use for Mammoth anymore. It is now inevitably the worst hull in the game.

Love the speed of hornet and gameplay with new physics, just need to test the turrets. I love titan before and even more now!

mammoth should be the strongest and i played the game i feel the physics are horrible wasps and hornets are moving WAY to fast just ruins the feeling of tanki :(  A titan pushing a mammoth i think you guys are just really bored you messed with thing that should just be left alone 

like to get the attention of the developers of tanki so the mammoth is not overpowered or settings are reverted back to normal state

Really..There are some big changes on some turrets... mammy is super slow... wasp is too fast to drive, this physics update just ruined most of my garage.
