Update 205 — New Physics

New Physics was tested and elaborated considering opinions from the players. Rebalance is a continous process because has to equilibrate the game that yesterday looked like top today is changed and it looks worse but is more balance compared to the others weapons/tank(i don't think that for the players without weapons m3 and mamouth was so funny to play a battle full m3 and drugs). New Physics is part of a plan of general development of the game approved and the results satisfy the developpers.

Is easy to complain but if u want to be listened try to explain.

 

Personally i think that we have to try and value everything and what that today looks worse tomorrow will be better, we experimented 1 year ago.

 

PS The lag of today is due of the problems with datacenter.

Cant say enough about how much you screwed up tanki. Its hard to leave the game after all this time and effort to making myself a better player. I had a team, i met some amazing people who were my friends. I still dont understand: you had the test server open, as i saw, about 70% of the players were complaining about the speed of the hulls, altho you still made the "update". You said you are always aware about what tanki players think. As everyone can see, youre not. Had a good time before the "update", bye!

Wow, this is so confusing. First, players(tanki community) wanted physics to be in the game very badly. Also many players were happy with the new physics when testing in the test server. Now, finally the new physics have arrived, players disagree, complain about this or that. That is very unfair, guys.  :huh:

Nice update! Overall pretty good!

 

Only two things are bothering me. First the Rico. It is now really OP. Thankfully most Tankists do not use it properly, hope it stays that way....by properly I mean using the camera in birds view, to actually see how the plasma-balls are ricochetting.

Also the main reason I do not like the gun: I use birds view a lot, but only in really short moments. It feels like you are not in the game anymore. I really like standard POV (Point of View). Can be nice in certain movies as well... :rolleyes:

 

A lot of less skilled players use the Rico mainly as a collission-attack weapon. It was already pretty devastating before the NP: it will be worse even now. The "perfect" replacement gun for the drugging Twinners!

 

Secondly I do not like the fact that a lot of players are indeed suffering (I am just lucky because I have "just" started, no expensive M2 's yet) the consequences of this "Rebalance". Especially the ones who own a Mammoth M0 to M2. The M3 is affected to, but is still a HP fortress, can move a little and has his purpose. The Mammoth M0 to M2 are now really bad if you compare them to the Titan. IMHO that was already the case before the New Physics, but it became even worse. The Titan is affected too when you compare it to the other lighter hulls, but will be the King of the heavy tanks untill M3.

 

About the Wasp I am not so sure. Even the Pro 's say that is more or less a disaster at this moment, but they might be able to "repair" it solely with their skills. So time will tell. (this "skill-repairing" is ofcourse not possible with the easy Mammoth.)

The Wasp will certainly become less popular though and the new light King will be the Hornet for sure.

 

Some weapons are not so good anymore too, but I do not yet have a decent enough knowledge of this.

 

There will be no refund, but the fact is and stays that a lot of players have the feeling that they are "robbed". The changes of the NP are that huge, that I have to agree with them. Tanki, do your best to give those players some sort of compensation!

+1 (ran out of positive votes) I, for one, don't think Freeze has been over-nerfed. I still like it as my m2. (I also dominated on test server with Freeze m3 ^_^)

To be fair, I have yet to try out my own Freeze M2 - it's just that all the Freezes I've played with thus far seem to be pretty weak. I can literally manoeuvre around and past them now with very little damage/freezing sustained. This is probably because it takes longer for the freeze effect to kick in now, and many players haven't really got used to the increased speed of the game yet; this means that most Freeze users I've played with so far are very easy to confuse and outrange.

ONE OF THE BIGGEST BUG - tested new physics today sounded like i am driving frerrari but roads have speed limit of 1/2 that of frerrai speed. anyways still drove ferrari on maps like bobruisk or polygon somehow managed not to bump in someones tank or bang against the wall . But the moment to bang against wall or other tank while taking turn I DONT KNOW INSTEAD OF PUSHING TANK TO OTHER SPACE SO AS TO MAKE IT MOVE ON IT GETS STUCK FOR 2-3 SECS FROM THE SIDE IT BANGED SO EITHER HAVE TO WAIT A WHILE AND THAN TURN STEERING OR FIRST MOVE BACK AND THAN RUN

 

please fix this bug tested on hornet not good

 

:D  :P  thanks to my goodness as imformed in PHYSICS UPDATE THREAD ABOUT FREEZ GETTING MORE NEFRED i didnt bought that waste even when offered on 50% disc save crystals as they will not be refunded

I must say in the begining I was against this update but after playing for about 4 hours I realy like the new speed, battle is much more faster and I don't have to wait and wait to get from one side of the map to another. Now I get used to this and I don't know how would I drive a slow tank again. And I must say I was a bit bored with droged mamoths that takes  win at the end of the battle when the fund is high. It was realy annoying. As well as the isida that can destroy other thanks indefenetly when it's on drugs. Thanks TO.

I see. Though, it seems that with the old physics--noob Freezes could easily any opponent as most opponents were pretty slow--didn't even have to turn their turret, and they'd dominate. Now, there's a fine line between skilled and noob Freezes. I've gone against countless Freezes and before they could even see the speed of my Hornet m2 I ninja'd behind them and killed them from the back. So, maybe the New Physics is better for skilled players, but worse for noobs. (at least from what I've seen)

the only things that should be changed in the game was the physics of the tanks. every other weapon sucks now to the new changes especially shaft and freeze. i don't feel like playing this game anymore. uninstall changes !!

THE ONLY THINGS THAT SHOULD BE CHANGED IN THE GAME WAS THE PHYSICS OF THE TANKS. EVERY OTHER WEAPON SUCKS NOW TO THE NEW CHANGES ESPECIALLY SHAFT AND FREEZE. I DON'T FEEL LIKE PLAYING THIS GAME ANYMORE. UNINSTALL CHANGES !!

These changes make the game better and more fun :) Just get used to them! :) If you don't feel like playing this game anymore--don't! Many other players, such as myself, would love to continue to play this great game ;) I'll give you a game of my m2 Freeze powa in an hour--I've got to do something first.

Is "you" being me? Because I can hit them with Railgun. ;) Just relax, go back into the game, get a nice cup of tea going, then enjoy the game!

 

The speeds aren't that ridiculous on a more serious note, however. You just need to adapt to them.

Actually I would like to say something positive but I can't find it. The battle field is out of control!!!!!!!!!! The battle field looks like a bunch of crazy bees that are trying to make a lucky move and if they fail they crash! There is no control. Before there was control in maneuvering. If you really want to address the M-3 Mammoth dominating the field then separate them from the other ranks or group them with the top three ranks! The top three ranks have no problem battling I seen enough to know. What was special about waiting to get to Generalissimo was the tank. Thanks for stripping me of the time I spent to get this M-3 Mammoth and the value of my garage.
