Remember one thing, what do you want us to show it to any old player on the shaft not interested. If I wanted the place to go rabbit shooting, so I get a matching weeder. At all-the horror does me feel that the editors went through an adolescent or get it into the hands of some kindermanager. I am disgusted with the greatest possible degree, and I regret that I wasted tanks devoted so much time. Money will not be any.

Ok, record video and let me see ... because the gameplay is much faster, you have no time to make moves ( I use hornet m2 in combination shaft m2).

 

In my view, the strategy of shaft is (sorry it was - right now is history)  find good position to give your team back up (like smart position and fast run/change - that was old good tanki). Now the blocked fast shots, I can not defance myself to find other place to shaft because right now I need to wait when the bar is full loaded and what do you think? The shoot me like a duck ;-)

but same with me mk2 hornet does not go round corners and i ether haf to stop and turn to go round or i bang into a wall or building and if i go straight into the wall/building i get spiked and can not turn left /right haf to reverse and then turn

all this is a small amount of time but in battle it is the difference between life and death

with old format i became quite skillful with the hornet i think was able to get to the enemy or in most cases my team member to dump all my nanites on the player often sacrificing my self in the prose's for the good of the team.

i can not do this now i can not negotiate tight corners effectively with mk2 hornet it has now become a joke. becoming porn material for all those camping long range weapons

the reason there is allot of cristals dropping is because the hornet users are getting pawned more quickly now

we are an easy target anyway but the speed and turning problems means more time for enemy long range to get there shot in clealy.

my type of game play has become severely degraded with hornet and the with loss of control and accuracy

if i could i would not choose full power but in this game it is ether go or stop no in-between

if i could use 2/3 the power for speed and 3/4 the speed for turning i would but it is turn or don't and full accelerate and go or don't no in-between.

dude you will learn as you learnt to master the old turning ! You will become even better because the new update helps light hulls more. Hornet is so much more fun now ,So easy to make people miss. I love it !

I also don't know why so many people want realism... Tanki Online was never realistic... Tanki is an arcade style tank game... I'd shocked if anyone started playing Tanki because they thought, "Wow this is just like World War II!"

 

Obviously you know nothing about realism if you think Tanki Online was ever realistic in the first place...

 

The new speed is awesome, it increases difficulty levels, variety, sense of speed, raises your need for being alert, and many other things. This is great for the strategical gamer, and a step in the right direction. Mammoth is a little underpowered now though, in comparison to Titan. Other than that, I have very few complaints.

Forget about the realism issue, that's my own like. The point is that The Shaft now has lost all its real power. Yes,  you could lurk, hide, an shot. But as soon as you shot, they find your place, so you need to shot again  as faster as you can, now, to load (not just telescopic) it takes for ever, meaning that as soon as you shot, 3  to 6 shots will fall on your head before your gun is able to load again. That's one issue. The Second issue is when you are in Telescopic mode, normally the gun moves very slow, that's ok. But now is almost titanic to move the gun in telescopic mode, making you unable to change targets fast enough, waisting time and becoming a sitting duck.

Looks like the changes on the Shaft were made on propose by developers that play with other guns. If you are good with The Shaft, you are almost invincible. You push Strategy into your enemies game. You need to be creating to bring down a Shaft. I have tried all Guns here, and the Shaft is for the real strategist. You don't been speed when you are a Snipper, you need a good Gun with good reload power. Not the crap they did with it. It would be better if they just delete from the Market. Stupid upgrades.

EXACTLY!!!!! Long Range Support. Open the feels for the Speed Gamers, Back up and Defense your team mates. Protection and Open Offensife. But if you are teenager, you just want to run and hit. Good Post.

I think I'm leaving Tanki. Sorry guys, it has been an amazing trip, lots of funs, feinships and rivalries. But looks like I'm obsolete to this Fast Hit and Run new version of Tanki. Teens win once again, an those enjoying the purity of tanks and it;s strategy have no more place here. Many, for not saying the majority of The Shaft Gun players will have very hard times to adopt to the new useless gun, and they won't be able to adapt to another Gun that easy. Totally agree, very well articulated the 'shaft'. At this moment all strategy is erased from the game. I think somebody who never played shaft could only take this biggest mistake decision to change crucial point like this!

So I tried it again and endured 1 minute. The quality upgrade evidenced most one fact - THAT TO ME, AS THE SHAFT, all totally ... IGNORED! They drive to her flag for those around me and I is not interested at all!! I just spent two hours messing around with this trying to get a video uploader, and I cant figure it out, I recorded a video from Noise... I joined with ranks at my level, mostly major/lieutenant colonel, and I used Wasp M1 + shaft M2 + tundra... I caught a gold box during the video with WASP + SHAFT. Since when could you easily catch gold boxes with shaft???

 

I tried uploading the video to youtube but it didn't support my video file .avi and I tried to change the format with another program but failed there too. I'm using a different operating system than I'm used to. I will summarize what happened.

 

11.0 K/D within the first 5 minutes of the match, Gold box signal, my blood pressure went through the roof, I caught it, smiled, continued playing...

5 minutes later, 3.0 K/D, our team was winning 10 flags to 11... but all my teammates were mostly wasp/hornet users, and they all had horrible K/Ds, all below 1.20.

I was lagging a good amount throughout the entire video record attempt... and scored 300 points in the match, in under 15 minutes, in second place. A drugger with emerald/viking/thunder m2 was in first place.

Quick scopes, zipping around the map in different places, every time I take a shot, I get into cover or I move to the other side of the map during the 8 second reload... then snipe from another point. If someone is running at me to come kill me, or sees me, I simply leave ASAP with my wasp, and out-run them, then if they are still following me, I turn around and start charging up at the place they are following me from, and as soon as they are in my scope, BAM they are dead.

 

Shaft is absolutely awesome if you use it right... I will try to record a video much later once I get a better computer and a proper operating system. Im sure other skilled shaft users will put out videos as well.

I don't see any problem at all with the Engines, Faster, good, no problem. BUT, the main issue in this new update are the GUNS, Tanki Team has literally killed The Shaft. And many of the biggest and better players used The Shaft.

Why.
Are you all just making jokes. They balanced the game, before, Twins/Smoky+Mammoth was a thing that needed two tanks to kill  (Or three aimed shaft shots). Shaft before was bad, you were sitting there aiming to get the full damage and the enemy could just circle you. Now you can get to the max-damage of the Shaft much more quicker, by making the Shaft more of a back-line-gun. Titan was barely used, and you're all saying it pushes Mammoth? Titan has more HP/Weight, Mammoth has a engine but it's too heavy to push everything. The lag can be fixed if you just adjust the settings.
(Hope that answers all of you ranters who say this update is the worst) Happy tanking!
