Update 205 — New Physics

I will greatly miss those moments with my Wasp, where I'd lost my focus for a split second and ended upside down. Trying not to get flipped using Wasp at full potential was for me an extra dimension to the game.

 

Wasp has lost this dynamic feature due to the new physics you so perfectly described, but affects also other hulls. Hulls have become so stabile, that you will only have to get the steering and aiming right. Tipping over has really become a challenge, even when jumping of ledges. It somehow feels like we've have lost that extra dimension for "total" control of your tank. Wasp will in the end much more easy to handle I think.

 

Two other aspects I would like to address are maneuverability and turrent rotation.

 

Changes in maneuverability perhaps made the hulls more stable, but it seems to be harder to maneuver in confined spaces. Corners do have to be taken wider, which I belief does not benefit gameplay in a good way. And by speeding up hulls, it seems the turrent swing speed has not been increased enough.

 

As a both Wasp & Mammoth lover, I had no problems before this update concerning balance. I might be just that odd one of the bunch...

same here... just bring back the old( before 205update) all hulls speed, currently it's outrageously ridiculous and unrealistic...

The physics update is not entirely bad however it is extremely unfair. I agree that there should not be a refund for all of the garage, however mammoth is completely awful.

 

Before physics update - Mammoth was faster, could push any hull out of the way and when drugging it was impossible to beat.

 

After physics update  - Mammoth is very, very slow, it can be pushed out of the way by titan and viking of the same upgrade, and is useless even when drugging.

 

I suggest you give Tanki users the opportunity to refund mammoth because it is not going to be used any more. Everyone i know is going to buy titan now but we havent got the crystals to buy it at the moment, this is why we need a refund. If Tanki does not give people with mammoth a refund or make it like it used to be, I believe you will have a serious uproar on your hands.

 

I love Tanki as much as anyone and that is why I am telling you this. If nothing is done about mammoth, myself and many others will be seriously upset and annoyed. Many people I know have already decided not to buy crystals again in protest.

I can also see your point. But only a little of it. They are just trying to give other hulls a chance to prove themselves on the battlefield. Ever since the day mammoth was put into the game. It has been the best hull. every body wanted m3 mammoth, It was slower, but it had A LOT more health than any of the other hulls. And it was big. stable. nothing could push it around. IF you had this hull, you were a cool tanker. So, now Tanki is giving a chance to these other hulls to be used with out being outgunned and still be act like what they are suppost to do. Nimble, Fast. what ever fits your play style can now be done with out being foiled by their old nemesis, Mammoth.

Two weeks ago TANKI ONLINE was the best online game. We celebrated this fact.

Today i played the new physics. Today TANKI ONLINE is dead.

 

GAME OVER.

 

It look likes i am playing  MARIO KART on DS. That is NOT my game.

TURNING walls as fast as a wasmachine. Driving a TANK is now like driving the cars in GTA-V.

TANKI ONLINE also changed the Shaft. THAT is not why i bought kristal 3 months ago. You can t change the game play that much. I want my money back.

TANKI ONLINE is now like a BITCOIN worth a lot but killing it self because there is no backbone. We can t trust Bitcoin and Tanki online.

 

TANKI ONLINE has to earn money, but i think i won't buy even one extra redcross supplie. TANKI must use all those boxes by themselves.

 

And when i read the chat i am not the only one.

 

TANKI ONLINE if you want to survive the 3 coming years. Bring back most of the old physics. TANKI ONLINE is not GTA V or Need fo Speed.

 

NOW YOUR GAMEPLAY IS OVER -  OUT AND DEAD in weeks.

 

TANKI ONLINE BRING BACK most of the OLD gameplay.

 

The goal for the first 3 moths will be the daily supplies. When nothing changes my tank can be sold like old iron.

To Kirov-any adjustment in the future-of the 38 million registered players,definitely ditch 20 million using hornet and twins,or have in garage,i will make comments on these 2 points.

For hornet: current speed is difficult to control,i think it would be optimal speed between 10.5-11.0-for hornet m3.

For twins: and before the new physics,twins m3 firepower was very little difference between m3 and m2-was 3 shots in addition,2 meters. Have made changes,meaning the power to destroy,all weapons,except twins,used by many players,so please make changes and twins that power.

I exposed observations for the 2 point,respect and not want contradictions with other players using weapons or tanks.  Thanks.

We are listening to you, nobody said that the state in which all the turrets and hulls are now won't change and will always stay like that. Things will most likely be adjusted even more.

 

So if you say you listen to us tankman do us a big Christmas favor and get the old physics back .Let us tankman enjoy the holidays playing Tanki because so far you ruined them . Continue the work on what you started because it is clear to everybody the update is wrong and needs alot of heavy duty polishing and its far from being implemented .

Is not just about the money. We had a great game. A game in which you could look forward to keep growing, to get better, to be respected and feared. You could build up you dream tank, grown with it and know that everything you were doing in the past 4-6 months will take you somewhere. But  then, by monetary issues, you are pushed to start all over, because everything you were able to master and to build, was bulldozed. I was a Shaft Player, a good one. I was growing and getting better, learning how to defend my self from fast, close combat units. I Upgraded my torret, I was respected. Now, all that is history. Tanki decided to kill Shaft in the most stupid way, the reloading time. I can handle the ultra slow motion of the gun (when loaded) in a Hyper Fast New Game, but the Reloading time is ridicusly slow (at lease as 15 to 25 seconds of waiting to be able to shoot again) for me to  be able to enjoy the game more than 2-3 min wihtou being kill, and not because your enemy outmaneuvered you, but because the New Upgrade has removed all change for you to defend yourself. Tanki killed the Shaft. I tray all other torrets, I can't catch up. So why should I keep investing more and more time in a game that in no time will change the rules of everything again, and will trash every I build? IT feels like dating a very insecure and unstable girlfriend, you don't know what to expect any more. And honestly, I don't have time for that crap.

I didn't like the update initially but now, the Shaft works better than ever. The way it works now is how a true sniper weapon should work. I'm exposed for a very short time now while I reload so I don't get destroyed very often. My D/L's have doubled now. Went from being an average of 7-8 D/L to about 15-20.

 

The Mammoth really sucks now though. I had to buy a Titan and upgrade it to M1. Cost me a bunch of crystals...but I can recover them easily with the new power of the Shaft.

 

You just need to adapt with the changes. That's what a battle is all about anyway.

Which Maps have you played on? How was your defense against Short Range Tanks? How can you handle slow tourret movement when loaded and need to change targets? What about missing fire?

wow tanki, you have to fix this game.  This new update is TERRIBLE.  I get if you needed to rebalance things but this physics thing is TOO much.  It doesn't even feel like a tank game anymore, this is so dumb.  Look at your game!  The tanks look like little toy RC cars racing around, it really is stupid now.
