megahnus. Dobře, že jste světu připomněli, co jste tam zač. Měl bych práci pro ten megamozek od fyziky- ještě půl roku na sobě tvrdě pracuj a budu tě moct postavit k lopatě. Jako pomocníka k zedníkovi.

To ROZUM PŘESTÁVÁ BRÁT.

Must be your inability to acknowledge my motives.

#fail

Maybe I was paranoid but actually I questioned your motives. Can you elaborate on your motives? Will be glad if proven wrong

Which Maps have you played on? How was your defense against Short Range Tanks? How can you handle slow tourret movement when loaded and need to change targets? What about missing fire?

Mainly Silence, Polygon, Highland and one other that I started playing which I don't remember the name of. I'll occasionally play Sephurov but it's a boring map for a slower hull.

All of those maps have some really great spots for a slow hull to shoot from.

Short/mid range weapons are not a huge problem and here's why:

I mainly play team games (TDM or CTF).

You can use paint to protect against short range weapons up to a point.

Your team will have their own short/mid range tanks who will usually take on their opposing counterparts.

Being a long range weapon, you can pick a spot far away from any entry points and destroy opposing tanks that enter your area.

If they come up really close to you, you're in trouble though.

I try and be patient when more than one tank enters my area so that I shoot when more than one tank is in line with another...since they are light tanks, the Shaft shot goes right through tanks so I try and get a 2-in-1 (or more) shot wherever possible.

Always pick out the tank that poses the most threat first.

ALWAYS go for the isida first because even if you shoot a freeze, the isida will just heal him and you'll die before you kill the freeze.

As for the slow turret rotation, if I'm out of sniper mode, I turn the hull along with the turret, at the same time. If you're in sniper mode and a short/range weapon is close by, you're screwed but every single weapon on Tanki has it's own pros and cons and these are just the shafts.

As for slow reload time, take cover when you're reloading. This is a sniping weapon, after all :)

A lot of people accuse shafts of being campers...that's ridiculous, they can't expect a shaft on a heavy hull to hop around shooting everyone lol this is a slow weapon. People who say that are just not aware of different strategies, in my opinion.

As for missing fire...you'd rarely miss a shot...I mean, you have the sniper scope :) The only times I miss is when one of my own team mates bump into me when I'm about to take a shot, other than that I rarely miss on sniper mode. That thing is so incredibly accurate.

I play mainly Future, Silence and Sephurov, which I found to be the best for long range strategy.

The problem I found with the Shaft turret with the new settings is that the Fast movement of the new hulls do not match the speed of your gun at sniper mode, making accuracy at shooting much harder now.

As a long range weapon, you main plan should be cleaning the area for fast moving tanks on your team, as well as offer protection when they confront the enemy. In small maps it's harder because the capacity The Shaft had to shot normal rounds without using the telescopic mode is in existence once you shot once, the waiting time for loading only allows you to run. Even if you are a snipe, you should be able to reload half the times faster, any sniper in real life has the capacity to shot more than one hit in time , if you have to move your post to protect your self, then the Sniper effect is lost. You are being sing, and you are being aimed, without a chance to shot back.

I agree with you with the fact that Shaft are not Campers, they used to be a strategic weapon in more elaborated strategies. Before the update, Shaft had its own weaken points, that opponents had to discover, but now those weaken points have been exarcebated, mainly with the waiting time for reload.

I think the experience could change if your always play team games with the same people, they know you and they can cover.

In my case, I used to pick weak teams to boost their possibilities, overturning many games in our favor. But under the new update, it's impossible.

I'll give it one more change. I will change my hull to a more solid one, but I doubt it will make the whole experience enjoyable.

That's alarming, I've thought only more mature players like me have had eye fatigue, headache and other symptoms since the NP is presented. I'm quite sure that the NP is the culprit, all those mad racing tanks with jerky movements and fast changing textures strain our eyes and brains too much.

I'd forbid my kids to play tanki too if they played it.

oh i'm a mature player as well.  My little cousin is 14 (15 on Christmas day, the lucky little £&%*^$ )  and so far all tankers telling me about those symptoms were under 17 , but now that you say it affects you too, I guess it can be deduced that it is a general problem affecting all ages ...

OK you mentioned that your scope moves slower when its fully charged . You could try and guess the path of the approaching tank and zoom only at that expected position instead of trying to follow it which is very difficult.

And if you can't handle the slow reloading speed of shaft you could always switch to another turret. You are at a very low rank now. You can easily buy another m1 and change your playing style . I know you may think that you love only shaft , but once you get used to another turret you will love it too, maybe more than you like shaft now. I played only with shaft till third lieutenant , then I switched to railgun. I loved it ! I found playing with shaft a bit boring and slow and less stratergical, which is not the case now.

Btw ,after the new physics I haven't tested rail gun till now ! I like firebird so much. I don't know it may even become my fav turret .

What I'm saying is its not the end of the world.Try and innovate. If you want you can send me a request and we can try and get kills on

Shaft . what say?

I know that you were crushed by this update because you could only play with mammy + twins which both are nerfed.

Honestly, I won't miss you thou as you were a noob crystal collector who didn't want to help team efforts in NS battles.

Au revouir!

You give me the urge to play again guy !
comes on a map and we'll see who is a noob ...   ;)

That Path Projection is Tank 101. But it has became a very hard to do in a super fast environment, more if you guns turns too slow when loaded.

Tanki Team use the " buy another m1" to make this changes. Tried other guns, not happy. I'm a Lon Range, more sneaky player.

But it's a fact The Shaft strategy has been altered in massive ways, this shot and hide is more like Railgun strategy. Nonesense.

You are asking Panther to act as a T1 or a Sherman. It won't happen. Evolution is Adaptation, granted, but the Update was way unnecessary.

I won't invest more money on the game, it has no projection.

Tanki killed the game with the update.

No contro over the tanks possible anymore and so no strategy is needed. Everything depends on LUCK now and not SKILLS.

Fyi I have never invested any money in this game till now.

Shaft may now be overpowered at your rank. Thats why I used it too!But at my current rank ,in the old physics shaft was crap ! I mean nobody used it. It was'nt anybody's main turret. After the new physics people actually are scared of it .They know it just takes 3 seconds for their tank to be history.

If you want I can get one of my friends to post his scores using shaft after the new physics was released.

Shaft . what say?

The success of Tanki , you have several styles to play.
When we started in Tanki , we tested all the weapons and chose the most appreciated ,
Change our style? Is better to switch to another game, And to develop another weapon costs many crystals.

You may have adapted to another weapon and way to play, but not everyone is like you, people have different skills and personalities
To play with shaft is pure strategy . is not a rush .
Millimeter choose local shooting , change position as the opponent change positions in a sequence logic etc. ...
calibrate the power of the weapon to maximize the time (this was taken),  The strategy raigun is run, shoot and hide

All help is welcome, but a successful game can not change radically and change their characteristics
In this winning team that does not move

My 3 hornet and wasp drifting is just good fun i guess, A lot of people won't like this, After a while, everyone adapted to re-balance, same rules are going to apply for this update :D

I think I am waving the white flag of surrender. I have tried to adapt to the changes with Shaft, but it has become a very unbalanced weapon. Why was Shaft singled out for such harsh treatment I wonder... ?

The gameplay is also too fast and jerky for me and my computer, so I am taking a break from Tanki. Maybe I will check back in a few weeks to see if anything has changed.

I thought it was called Tankionline not formula one online, game now ridiculous!

Define tanki?  .. Well.. Tankionline decided to get faster in terms of speed. The speed has changed.. The name is still the same! If you want to play F1, It's on console games. The game is now better with this update for me, i can maneuver over noobs who don't know how to drive a tanki the appropriate way, Get used to this. No big deal to it. It's just an improvement on slow tanks making them fast, apart from mammoth which lives up to it's name of being slow!
