Update 205 — New Physics

On the 21st of November Semyon announced that Tanki had won in the Game of Runet Category. He said :

 

"This victory is yours. Thank you for being with us, supporting us and helping the game to develop".

 

Clearly, the developers (and us too) must have been doing something right...

 

So you can imagine my disappointment when I tried out update 205 and found so many changes.... I can just say that I will not be playing the game if it remains this way.

I think that one of the reasons behind the NP in addition to the hidden Rebalance was developers' attempt to make the game faster going. Lately, the gameplay become quite stagnated and outright boring sometimes with all those mammies and twins in every battle. For instance, I loved Kungur before but It become a very boring place. Too often battles ended in a scoreless draw because it was impossible to cap flags against 4 or 5 mammies defending flags with isida(s) nursing them.

 

The developers tried to address that problem in a most obvious way which turned out to be the dumbest one at the same time. They decided to make light tanks faster but mammy slower which turned Tanki into racing game we can see now.

 You might be correct about twins but mind you, I'm talking about a combo. Besides, now that mammy is a sitting duck with all those mad fast light tanks and that mammy can be bulldozed even by viking you think it's not obsolete??

 

He quit because he knew that his combo was obsolete and he could no more collect crystals at his will at Sandbox  ;)

The combo might be not 100% but none of them are. Ive seen some mammoth twins combos who are number one (With drugging but still good) so its not the most recommended but i see your point. I myself am switching over to m2 viking with twins.

BTW I love the fact they reduced nitros effect, no more mammoths zooming around stealing our flags with full drugs :D.

Agreed, 100%, however mammoth has literally no purpose at this point... it needs more HP to set it apart now, or the Mammoth will literally become extinct. (Pun intended.)

Like i said above, i still see mammoths dominating matches. So it wont become extinct

I was trying to adapt to new shaft and get used to it. But what I have realized is that shaft is playable only in Stadium or in Bridges, in such large maps.

Lets look at the definitions of shaft:

Shaft: The Shaft gun was designed by scientists who gave it enormous capabilities. It can make coffee (really?), deliver pizzas (come on already), pay bills, 

but its main features is the sniper mode, which allows you to stay one step ahead of your opponents. Get a unique opportunity to fight at long and short distances,

as you can fire without using its sniper scope

 

Now isn't that cheating the customers? Is that new marketing technics? You can not fight without using its sniper scope, because it is useless.

And you can not fight short distance, because it is too slow when the enemy is turning around you.. You can't use its sniper mode. They should have changed the description of it, when they have changed its characteristics

 

Yesterday I was play against team with shaft (m2 on mammoth), shaft has 70 kills and he destroyed us in a 7 flags battle (silence - no time limit) and he came like second with almost same amount of points as the first one (fund was around 7000 cry), he has killed with only one strike almost everything on the battlefield, but that team has an excellent tackticks, they have guard the flag and the shaft well, I personaly think that the shaft is now more dengerous then ever.

Hey everybody,

In my opinion update of physics in game wasn't a good idea. Tanks running like F1 bolide?? Who is invented the?

 

First off all too much depends of computer specification now and not of player skills. :-( 

On my computer delays are awful. Shots from nowhere, tanks jumping on maps, image flashing... Nightmare! And it was so good untill now. :-(

 

The worst thing is that some guns aren't keep up with these changes. Specially railgun is shooting too slow for new physics. It cost me a lot of diamonds and now I need to search something different. :-(

Miss the old shaft :( i hate the longer reload time. It was so damn easier to kill steal with the faster reload time slower charge. All of this made me start using isida again :( farewell shaft :( Im going to miss the old glorious days of you badly :'(

My wasp and smoky isn't as effective anymore coz smoky lost abit and since every hull is fast as it is it except mammoth and titan then it means that I won't be able to do anything about this. Smoky wasp was good before as I could run to safety with my fast speed but now since hornet and wasp are almost same in terms if speed and stability then it means that it will be much harder to escape one.

We don't know about any information related to discounts since developers do not disclose such information until a few days prior to one. You'll just have to wait and watch for further information.

 I like to get my crystals back since you made mammoth not usable anymore so i can buy another tank that worthy of firing .. i cant believe you did that and thinks this is fair did you really take into account that the re-balance is really lop sided  and you made the strongest tank look like a wimp in battle you took all the great features and gave   every other tank  more power including the tanks that was nothing.. please put everything back like it was  cause what you think is working and fair is not... then you want us to spend money on weapons that we cant keep at the end.. just venting cause i love this game but now you making it into crap.. gcode

One thing I do not understand

If the game was considered the best, why change it right away?

 

 

I keep using axis but retired mammoth, now I'm with Viking

still defeated opponents as before, but I'm hating this form of play

I am playing since the updat but it is a disaster to play with hornet M1 or M2 with railgun M1 or M2

It s just like a bouncing ball, uncontrollable and on drugs even like a very bad icescater .

And the problem is that you can not comensate by developing skills because its to unpradictable. The response of the hulls in general is now to much "gamie"and less real skill. 

 

 

 

NO FUN ANYMORE.

 

PS unfortunately this is a typcial rushian site were english is not the best of skills so any comments are most of the times wasted and I think even objectiv responses are ingored and tanki is killed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

To give an impression; I have two accounts i play with and also my dougther and son are playing tanki. Just because it was somewhat realistic in controling te hull and turret.......................
