I actually like the new physics more than the old, I like how tanks move more quickly. The only thing I dislike is the change to shafts, but I'll get use to.

For all of you complaining about shaft, here are 3 screenies all after the new physics. Stop complaining. Shaft is good, use it better. Very few drugs were used in these screenies.

That screenshot proves nothing, it's not about your rank, it's about your skills and ability to assess the current battle situation but you are unaware of that obviously.

 

CTF battles require more team efforts than TDM battles but you always play like you are in TDM battle. In CTF battles you need to capture enemy flags while defending yours. That becomes harder or even impossible at all if some of your team members are neither defending nor offensive but collecting crystals, especially so at small maps like Sandbox where I've seen you the most.

 

You play with mammy twins combo which is better suited for defense, not offense but you don't defend your flag, you only care for crystals not your team. There are times in CTF when it's better to get killed yourself than kill someone but you can't get that. In the end all your kills and your D/L ratio worth nothing if your team loses but it's not the case with you.

 

Have a look at the screenshot below if you still think that I'm marshal and accordingly noob ;) Mind you, If I ever cared about my rating or D/L I would have always played with mammy so the numbers would've been much higher.

Update 205 in Chicago US is a disappointment. The hornet chassis has little resemblance to a sports car, it's more like a series of convulsions with little control due to the high lag between your servers and my PC. This lag varies between 250 and 750 ms. My service provider generally provides 20 Mb down and 2 to 4 Mb up with rarely more than 10 ms within their infrastructure. Unfortunately the problem becomes more acute the higher performing PC I use.

Perhaps tank would be a little more enjoyable closer to your server.

I do want to thank you for curing my tank addiction and look forward wasting my time and money elsewhere.

there are many people who like the new update and also hate it. i recommend you to take online poll where people will vote if they liked the new update or not. based on that atleast you can have a clear picture about the problems we are facing. my personal opinion is that i like the new update but i hate the speed of the turrents. they are very fast and hard to aim at and also i cant control my tank. atleast reduce the speed of the turrents. please

I was told that 200ms is minimum requirement for comfortable play, one of my Tanki friends in Russia had 40 or 50ms.

 

The developers promised long time ago to address the problem by adding servers around the world but haven't done it yet. I don't see it coming in the near future nor that I care anymore.

You never know if your thought has been presented,

You take your time to get to know the new physics, and it does have some fun new things, but it did take away some styles of gameplay that people enjoyed. so for many now Mammoth doesn't have a reason d'être, you have to understand how much effort went into making that tank an M3. I say you make mammoth king of the hill again and give it back it's slightly overpowered status in the game.

And no this isn't my trophy, but one every M3 Mammoth player thinks deserves that much respect

On a more serious note, perhaps the only thing mammoth needs now is a health boost to 400 from 380.  They did say it'll get slower but gain in hp in one of their pre-new physics videos.  

 

But then again what do I know, I don't play that hull.  It might upset the balance more negatively than positively.  (my friend damn_fast uses the M0 , perhaps I should ask him  :rolleyes: )

It cost some guy 15 million crystals to upgrade only 2 turrets, 2 hulls and 2 paints at the test server, holy cow  :o The prices are not final for sure but you can see that the Micro Upgrades is their new cash cow.

 

The MUs couldn't be introduced into the game unless the physics were changed first (that's what the developers say) so that's the whole deal about new physics.
