And not trying to offend anyone, but my honest opinion is that all this does is make everything opposite.

 

See, all it did was put the balance on a different side.

 

Titan is now OP Mammoth (Or mostly in general, Light/Medium Hulls are far superior to Heavy Hulls)

 

Rico is now Powerful Twins

 

Shaft is now Powerful Railgun

 

Freeze is rendered useless- especially with paints since they decrease the effect, thus proclaiming Firebird/Isida as strongest DPS.

 

And so on. . . .

All right, Seymon. I see what you are saying about the refund. Point taken. I'm convinced.

 

Now, there's a place in your announcement where I heavily disagree with you. You stated that players tend to flock to OP weapons, and are crestfallen when they are changed. I use Railgun M1, and I personally consider myself to be darn good with it. I do not think of it as an OP weapon. It simply suites my needs and fighting tactics better than any other weapon in the game. This is why I use it. I prefer long range trench fighting, with the ability to kick some serious butt up close with a single shot. Changing it would force me to adapt to different tactics, something I do not enjoy or wish to do. If you are not going to make a refund, then why not make the people of Tanki happy, and give, say, 10 to 30 thousand crystals to everyone. Admittedly, it would help lower ranks much more, but wouldn't it be possible to group crystal gifts with ranks? This could possibly mess up the economy, but not for long, as people would promptly spend the crystals and begin buying again.

 

Please, please reply to this. I want to know what you think, rather than hope someone of importance happened to glance at it.

@Kipk: It should never be a fixed amount. The reason being that it will not, and absolutely cannot please everyone.

 

The amount should vary according to Rank.

Although I do agree with you there. We could really use some Crystals- maybe they could give us some on Christmas or something. A big sale even.

And my final words to this post, I hope that Devs will actually implement some Updates that actually help Non-buyers in Game-play. You know, from all that money going to be made from MU's and Physics. :P

Do be honest they sort of help everyone with all these contests in getting crystals on the other hand they really should do a refund so they cut down on the rage from about 30% of the community aka the shafters, twins and freezers. also with the new physics for hulls, it will make alot more people angry say about 10% more so really 40% of the people will want a rebalance or refund. so really stop wasting your time and just refund the crystals used on the guns and hulls being changed but leave the rest of the things alone

Why do you say this now? The test server made no indication Rail was to be worse. I have Railgun m1 too, and am not so worried until I test it out in an hour+7 minutes.

Sorry, a refund is not impossible, but has much more cost than benefit for not just the developers, but the players as well.
