30 million players play tanki. Let's say 5 million are alts of others or players who now do not play tanki. 25 million stay. Out of that, let's take out 1 million more for hackers. 20 million still stay. I suppose that 1-3 million of them would be generalissimo. So that means 1-3 million are the best player? Cause he may have actually "bought" that rating with money....you may not be aware of this but...once you buy crystals with money, that automatically affects your rating....keep in mind that a buyer will buy drugs and drug all day long...thus having advantage over other players.....so looking only at the rating would be useless. I have done my rating without ever bying anything...and whoever i have asked so far at my ranks none of them had higher rating than me...talking about non-buyers always ( @FatalTank and my rating >> http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=184731&page=2&do=findComment&comment=3287546)...noone ...so in my case, rating proves my ability...but in a buyer's case...it just won't matter!

I agree with you.....well...Tanki could organize a tournament where everyone would be same...like a Rail-Wasp tournament...with all players having same-combos..no drugs..no paints.......and that way only the most skilled Tanki players would survive...and therefore the winner would be DA BEST! ;)

It is plain simple....you may say about TOF...but since i didn't participated (it was in september when my Uni started)...i can't say much about it.

True Tue True....though i am sure that i read somewhere in forum that Tanki is preparing some new tournaments for us...so lets be patient for now and see what they have to offer.  ;)

There will never be the best player. Even a tournament 1vs1 will not bring a answer.

Rail wasp duel is only about the skill with that particular weapon. Someone might be far superior with a different weapon.

The winner of a tournament like that can only be called best with wasp rail. Not more!!!

 

If a tournament, i would suggest "king of dm". Would be one hell of a big tournament but that is probably the only way to find a number 1 player at the top.

All other tournaments are about teamplay, so it is kind of hard to pick someone out. Even if someone ends up always on top of the list, it might only be because his role is capturing flags, while defender score less, but neither one would be successful without the other.

 

The only one close to be the best is the one with rating #1. And even that is probably due to skillfull drugging.

Interesting Jai....and thanks for informing me better...still...that doesnt changes anything, does it? Buyers buy kits now.....with paints that would normally come 6-7 ranks later...same for modifications.....not to mention Drugs...a buyer's rating can't be reliable source of how good he is! ;)

yeah that's true. since the product kits are introduced i see many m2 vikings and m2 thunders with emrald paint and with full drugs who just make my team lose! i hate those buyers :(
