Shaft glitch

Ok, sorry if this has been mentioned before, but when a lot of Shaft users charge up in scope mode but don't get a good view, they will press P (pause) to un-scope and move to a new location. Let's say I hold down space and it's 50% charged. If I press P, the gun will start reloading at the halfway point.. Is this intentional or not?

Happens to me aswell.

I don't think it's a glitch, though a welcome feature. ^_^

its not intentional but you are lucky if it happens as you get a better chance to kill tankers

I think it happens for everyone, as long as you are using Shaft
