Increasingly, more topics are led to the Photo of the Day, even when they could have a separate discussion quite successfully...

Hey everyone, I'm posting this cause the forums really dead now. Hopefully, we can get something new to excite everyone. I was even thinking a fresh new start with the forums for example clearing every topic, every post everything on the forum. (Except Dev Info). Also, so many high ranked players are leaving now due to the new physics and it gives us head aches when we are playing cause the game is so fast. Also, are we really that boring and scared we can't post anything not related to tanki that's useful in off topic. I think the community all has their opinions but this is truly becoming boring now. Not because of the players in the forum but what they post. I understand the moderators closing topics that aren't useful at all but what about the interesting ones they close?!! I really don't think this is right and I hope Semyon and the Community take a stand for it and change some stuff up. It's been the same old boring forum for about 7 months now. What is this I feel like i'm hanged! Also, the color of the forum.. Boring! Especially the default typing color. Can they make it  white or something that's not a blue as this. If we really wanted a perfect forum we should atleast try. Right now, I feel like were not trying at all. I though the "Helper" idea was going to change this forum around but it's still as boring as ever. New staff that had different ideas of this place? That be nice but what about the wonderful staff we have now? I feel like they go around punishing people and there jobs done. I wish they had some excitement and posted some interesting stuff to. Even if we do have are mistakes here and there we can all change that. Nobodys ever taken a stand and the one player who I see whos had is Selena12121. If you took the time to read all of this try to turn the forum around.

 

 

 

Your post is very enlightening, and maybe it will send a message to other forum members that it’s time to make interesting topics. Tanki rules are not to blame for members attitude’s toward topic creation. The rules have cut down on the number of incongruous posts/topics. This fresh new start you propose would be a great injustice to the many members that have posted significant, interesting and humorous subjects, especially in topics like “Photo of the Day”. Just that topic alone, is a piece of Tanki history that can never be recaptured. A history which many years from now, Tanki members will be able to view with pride and amazement, and even wipe a tear or two, and laugh. Clearing every topic, every post, everything on the forum? “What next? The H Bomb?”

When players are afraid that they could get banned even when they don't break the rules, or if they're afraid that they could get banned if one of their posts could be vaguely taken to be breaking a rule (a purely hypothetical example being someone posting a video of a song in Current Music, and possibly being banned for that song containing one word of profanity at 3:02 out of 4:51 minutes into the video or something - this sort of thing would clearly be oppressive), then there's a problem.

 

 

Well, I find one rule very hard to follow, as we all know... :P

Well, it would have been clear it was a deliberate over-exaggeration had you said "half of your posts" or "most of your posts". However, you quoted a specific figure as a proportion, which made it seem as though you were trying to be precise, rather than trying to exaggerate.

Hello,

We try to make the forum a safer place, a more joyful environment, because of that, bans may happen and topics get locked to avoid Flood/Duplicates.

Rarely a topic gets closed without a reason, a wonderful example set by my co-worker showing that the forum is filled with good collection of topics.

In the off-topic section, you may create anything not related to tanki as shown in the example above, but remember, your topic must follow the rules of the game and off-topic section rules! 

In anytime, if you think you got unfairly banned, contact our administrator @Yele, she'll look into it, the same thing goes for closed topics, if you think that this topic shouldn't be locked, also contact our administrator @Yele

My final and personal words is, respect each other and create useful topics at the General section, share your experience in the Gameplay, or make funny not related to the game topics in the off-topic, don't look to the moderators as they are your enemies,we are also members, spend more time helping our community to improve, instead of stalking someone for a mini-mistake, and remember, moderators are humans as well, if they make a mistake, take it easy on them :)
