New suggestion for bans

Ok, before you tell me to post it in the "Ideas and Suggestions" thread, I doubt a lot of you regularly check that thread and second, I'm not sure if that thread is for discussion, which is why I created this thread.

 

So a lot of us know that moderators are present in the server chat most of the time, and if, maybe, a user "insulted" someone else or maybe they flooded, then the "Player ___ has been banned for 5 minutes. Reason: __ . [insert weird arrow here] Rules". Well, I have a new idea. Say a user called Infected.with.Skill (one of my alts) says to another user, FC_BayernMunchen (just assume that they are two different people who don't know eachother). Infected says to FC, "Ur a big noob y u so dumb?". usually Infected will get a 5 mins ban for insult from the moderator... but what happens if FC is not offended or insulted by what Infected said? I think it is wrong, in this hypothetical situation, for Infected to be wrongfully banned since he did not break a rule!!

So in the future, I think that the chat moderator should ask the user, "were you offended?". If yes, then ok, ban. if no, then no ban!

just stop. the point is even if it didn't offend you you shouldn't do it. if you don't ban them their gonna do it again and again and once it gets repetitive I gets offensive.

Listen buddy, this will not change for a while. In reasoning insulting someone is a insult... you should know if you get ban or not. The player if he/she was not insulted its still a ban due to the moderators thinking... Now listen, all staff are under a contract of not abusing their power.. and the moderator won't abuse their power without reasoning.

Insult is to speak to or treat with disrespect or scornful abuse. So the other guy not getting offended will not make an insult a compliment.
