When i first joined early this yr i thought twins and wasp was so awesome but then when i got isida which was 1800 crys and sooo expensive i felt pro and now at next sale im getting m2 isida and i have 43k crys lol...

 

Back when i was nooby i thought 1k crys was amazing and sooo awesome :)

i was just reading posts around and came up with the post written by @Lt.Tank-Marshall .. he was telling about his funny or even nooby story that happened to him..we all were noobs in the beginning ^_^ .. that reminded me of my nooby story :D... so here we go:

 

it was very first day of mine in this game...it was in the ending of 2009 i guess... so my friend insisted that i should start playing this game, he was telling how exciting and funny it was .. well a day after i decided to give it a try ( no regrets ^_^ )... and i registered first account that i would not like to name in this topic :P .. i clearly remember that the first map that i joined was Boombox, of course before joining my friend explained that i could get crystals that would fall from the air, double armor, double damage and nitro ...

well.. so funny thing: i join a boombox DM, played there for like 30 mins.. and sudenly met very first buyer in tanki online ^_^... well even now buyer means drugger... yeh drugger because in lower ranks especilly by those times it was hard to buy things, so nobody would spend earned crystals for drugs but buyers... and that guy started to drug and i was like: "omg hacker" "go out" and etc... i thought that only way to get those bonuses was possible to pick them up :D .. after several minutes i was like: "hey, what hack are you using? pls tell me...". well i was getting no answer so i insulted him like a sir for several times... my friend forgot to tell me that drugs could be bought in garage....

 

lol  I remember my days. 2012 I think, when I started playing Tanki. My story is quite different. My good Belarussian friend named Vlad made my first account and he played for me. So, I started on rank corpral rather than recruit. My first map was Highland. And I just sucked BAD. But then I kept playing a while. And in few weeks, I was getting better and better. I was starting to get addicted to Tanki which I am not right now. I kept playing and playing. Getting excited and excited when I kept winning battles and getting crystals and buying paints and upgrading stuff. The first thing I upgraded was Mammoth when I was rank Staff Sergeant. And I just loved Shaft back then, so I only planned on getting shaft m1. And THEN, I tried a Railgun for a while. Railgun and Viking. I just loved it, it was fun to use, if you know how to aim good. So, I sticked with it. Sometimes, I borrowed Shaft's power and got crystals. Sometimes Shaft can get really boring as you know. So, I used Railgun. And THEN, after I upgraded my Viking when I was Warrant Officer 1, I was Warrant Officer 3. I had about 28 000 crystals. I was so damn close to Railgun m1. I only needed 3 400 crystals. It was so close. And I got hacked. When I tried to log in one day, it said "Password is incorrect." I typed in the right password with right username. But in those days, I didn't know what to do after my account got hacked, so I couldn't do anything about it. 

 

And I made new account, which became now a Generalissimo. And this one is my fourth one. My third one was ERICSHON, which is Warrant Officer 4, I don't log in to that account anymore.

 

I sometimes think about those days when I was a greatest noob of all and when my account got hacked and one of my account is banned forever.

I joined this game back in early 2012.. with the account HichigoShiro. :3 I joined a Sandbox DM. where I pwned with my amazing M0 Smoky/Wasp :D.. until I saw this guy.. who's tank was able to fly. At first I didn't think it was a hack, I thought hunters can fly.. xDDD so after I ranked up I went to the garage to see what I can get, and hunter was there, weirdly in the description, it didn't say anything about hunter being able to fly. So I thought it was a secret feature and went to a battle and started pressing all the keys to see what made it fly. (oh how stupid i was) But that's how I discovered the number pad can operate the camera, Delete can self destruct, etc. (smart) :D

 

I then sat down thinking.. how did he fly?! 

 

Then it hit me.

 

It was a  hacker. 

and that was how I discovered the forums (looking for complaints section)

 

But I did not say anything because I had no proof. 

Well, the days went on, I was lurking the forums, ranking up in tanki.

and I think it was a WO1 when I decided to post somethings.

 

and that my friends, is how Hichigo got his first ban.

I remember the first battle I joined was "for newbies" after I ranked up I went to my first CTF battle. I took the enemy flag and went to my flag and went to capture it (our flag was taken) I had no idea that the enemy team took our flag. I was spamming the chat saying "Why is it not working!" xD

And also I remember when I didn't know how to self destruct oh it was terrible, I flipped my tank upside down and I was laying there for 7 minutes saying for someone to kill me or push me off map. Then some guy says "Press delete!" Good times. :P

A couple things I remember when as a noob is that I would get really frustrated in how could a tank fire at me being in either a higher or lower ground than me. I'd think "the tank is pointing straight but how in the world is his fire going up or down instead of straight??" (it's called "fire angle" dummy duh lol) and also when I'd get fired at by a tank out of my range of sight from as far as I could see I'd be like "if I can't see him in my range of sight, how is he able to see me and fire at me?" (later I found out the camera angle controls...facepalm)  :lol:

 

I also remember the good times when gold boxes were not sirened and so no one would know when they'd fall. I got quite a few 100 gold boxes where all was nice and quiet in its surroundings, no killing over it, while everyone else was battling far away from it unaware of the GB dropped. Nowadays the siren is more like a call to slaughter and destruction every time it sounds the soon dropping of the GB  :D

I had the same flag experience...I guess all noobs go through that  :P

omg same happened to me :D :D i could not capture the flag only  because our flag was taken xD i thought there was a special button for capturing flag :D

I got this game from miniclip . Then i made an account @Powerfull_Soul. Then i went to my first map fortknox . It was ctf . Then i saw many player shooting and all etc . Then i saw my flag i just returned the flag . Then i thought it is very big thing ... Then i took enemy flag and captured th i saw my name came on top :D . hei left the game as i thought game never eds ... Then i ranked . Then i saw i saw rank pic which comes while loading new arena . Then i saw many people who are ranked hot weapons . Then i just bought fire .. i thought having good life is a best thing . then i bought mammy with fire -_-  well i played in highland so many got twins so it seems for me so strong . with mammy  couldn't collect crys :( then i i used twins . still player are better than me so i keep buying new weapons then  i went out of crys i got sad . and made new account :ph34r:  . and that account is this :rolleyes:   . then i bought  freeze (love it ) then i thought to get shaft :)  but i was noob i dont know how to use it !! soon i get to know how to use it !and i bought mammy to :P then soon i made some crys with shaft . when i get bored with shaft i use freeze in fortknox then i met a druger with hunter and railgun . he was killing me in a shot.. then on i even collect drug and use it once then i made a capture :P .... .. .... then i saw 25% discount on some weapons then i played a lot and made 1k crys that day :) . then i bought rico ... then  i saw isda (i thought he was noob instead of killing someone he is healing only ) y he is wasting time on healing other other !!!! then i saw score table . i understood he is 1st ............... i bought isda in another discount !!!!      then i heard of goldbox ! that time it was 3000 . and i asked one guy what is it? he told me !!!  .....................................................

looooool. :lol:  Happened with me as well in my real account. I first was having smokey wasp. Then i thought firebird is really good :D  and i got firebird m1 with wasp m1 :D . Then i upgrade wasp to m2 B) . Then i saw twin is much more powerful. I got twin m1 then m2 ^_^ . Then i was having m2 twin+m2 wasp :rolleyes: . I saw titan was unbeatable :o . I got titan m1 :D . I was having titan m1+ twin m2 ^_^ . That time i didn't look how much crys i have. :(  I dont even know where i will get to know how much crys i was having and so i was keep on wasting crys :D  :(  and i thought i have unlimited crys. :D  But when i am going to get titan M2 i couldn't cause i was having not enough crys :( . I became sad, all this time i didn't realize the short of crys as i was getting it by daily bonus and was collecting it and getting reward in battle as well. Now i was having in my garage Wasp m2, twin m2, firebird m1, titan m1 ^_^  B) . I soon realize that titan is slow and i thought if i get titan m2 then maybe the speed will increase :huh: so after collecting crys i got titan m2 :D . Still speed was low. :(  Then when i was staff sergeant i fell in love with rail :wub: . I got rail and then upgrade it to m1. Now i was using m1 rail+m1 wasp ;) . I soon realize that thunder is like a thunder in a battlefield :huh: . I got thunder and i saw hornet is dashing :wub:  with having good speed and armour :wub:. I got hornet and thunder and that time i was having thunder and hornet. Later few days re-balance came and made everything change.

MY FIRST BATTLE WAS SANDBOX, i had no idea what to do in the game, it took me weeks of learning and making account to finally get that it was multerplayer!

Haved that flag problem too :D It was awesome to realize that it wasn't bug always to me.. Back in the days i didnt know how to drop flag:P All maps looked bigger and more complicated!

Then I remember when I watched "best of..." and I thought that, wow, they can turn their turrets and play like a pro :D And when rebalance happened I was really noob, when I logged in I were confused "were did these crys come from?? I have so many crys!!"
