Battle Fund Question

when I play on a map for like 20 min I get loads of crystals showing in the battle fund at the bottom of the screen like between 2 000 and 5000 but my actual crystals at them top of the page only go up by like 20 or something is that normal or am I missing something

The battle fund isn't what you earned in battle. The battle fund is divided between all participants in the end of the game. So if you stay till the end, you will get a portion of it (depending on your place n the battle). Leaving before the battle is over will result in not getting anything.

 

The 20 or so crystal change in your inventory is most likely from picking up crystal boxes.

The crystals are distributed depending upon the battle fund. The battle fund increases depending on kills(DM, TDM, CTF, CP) & captures(CTF, CP). When the battle ends, crystals from that battle fund is given more to the wining team in CTFs, CPs & TDMs while the other team gets less depending on their status etc. In DMs, the most crystals are given to the player with the highest kills in that particular battle.

The battle fund isn't your crystals. It is a fund which is distributed in the end of a battle. If you're talking about your inventory, it depends on you i.e. collecting crystal crates or getting crystals as a reward in the end. ;)
