Tanki only recognises 2 keypresses

Hey,

 

Wondered if anyone else is having this issue that am experiencing.

 

Tanki only seems to register two keypresses at any one time which is causing no end of problems for gameplay.

Not sure if this is how the game is coded or just myself who is having this problem.

 

For example:

 

I can move forward, and rotate the turret at the same time, but any third keystroke is not recognised.

So i'm restricted to moving + rotating but am unable to fire at the same time.

 

Does that make sense lol?

Hello, this is not a problem in Tanki, this is a problem with your keyboard, AKA "keyboard ghosting" http://www.microsoft.com/appliedsciences/antighostingexplained.mspx

Solved by purchasing an "Anti-ghosting keyboard"

Or play on WASD <>? buttons. It allows to drive the tank in one direction, rotate the turret and fire simultaneously.

Yes, like @MisterGeneral said, it's keyboard ghosting. If you have a gaming keyboard like me, this won't happen. EDIT: Most of the time.

Here is better idea: Drive the tank backwards. Most problems with key ghosting are Up+Left+Spacebar. The 3rd or last key pressed doesn't counts. So drive backwards. Down+left+spacebar, all 3 keys work, atleast for me.

this happenned to me too, i thought i was the only one, thanks for making this topic :) by the way i noticed that if i try to play the tanki "walkthrough" or "tutorial", whatever, there is no problem there. This means that it can be fixed in real tanki too i guess. Tell me if i am wrong.
