I've read on the blog under new Turrets and hulls that we will start seeing some in the beginning of 2014...

 

So does that mean by March 2014 or so we should have a whole new set of weapons and hulls to choose from :D,

Just a couple of new weapons and hulls.... This topic is pointless,no offense. Plus I don't think they have started on them yet.

Well,they haven't updated the In Development section yet so no one knows but the Tanki team.

@FC: No way. That would be God_Mode everywhere.

I heard there would be a hovercraft and also a rocket that can turn around walls. there would also be a tank bigger than mamm and can deploy in 1 spot and have super health.

I kinda dont like the tank... on double armor....  :huh: In another game that I've played, a tank could deploy, but the reload speed got boosted by 30% (i think). Tanki should do the same.

Remember that microupgrades were supposed to come out in july but actually came out in december so we will probably see them at the end of 2014

@Rishi: :lol: Well January is only prototype, then Devs are going to adjust it, and then we're going to give Feedback, more adjusting, test, open test, then more adjusting, and then open test, and then wait a couple of weeks, then release, then maybe nerf.

 

That's what I predict. ^_^

 

So maybe mid-2014 at least.

Recently completed:

• New physics model for hulls — Discussion in the forum
• Further balancing of hulls’ parameters
• Reducing traffic between the client and the server
• Improvements in anti-cheat system
• Ability to invite a friend to a battle — Discussion in the forum

In progress:

• Ranking up effect (all players in the battle will see that you have received a new rank and will congratulate you)
• Micro-upgrades (upgrades of weapons’ particular characteristics, before the next grade is available) — Discussion in the forum
• Changes in the main page of the game (more useful information, easier to navigate)
• Reworking of existing maps

Planned:

• An ability to change weapons in the battle without losing achievements earned
• Individual sounds of engines for hulls
• New graphics
  • New level assembly system (absolutely new maps)
  • Color correction (night mode maps)
  • Dynamic lights (muzzle flashes, lights from searchlights)

Apart from above mentioned tasks, we are also working on the new client.

Once it is done, the following things will be implemented as well:

• Prototypes of new weapons
• New user interface
• Automatic selection of a battle according to specified parameters
• Chat channels (dividing general chat into chat rooms)
