Thoughts on New Year Map

I've seen plenty of tanks hanging around the Christmas tree and doing not a lot else....

Dark? It's not that dark, you can still play in it easily. It isn't blind-ish dark.

Its OK u need thunder, shaft , rail ( longer ranged weapons ) its hard to see what some paints are lol

That's the speciality of the New Years map, and if you can't see it clearly, turn your gamma up.

 

Get a dark paint, the paint holiday was probably made for this map, it's good camoflauge and you can sneak up to people sometimes

It's a OK map, IMO. I kinda like the darkness of the map. I was using Railgun in this map, and people know exactly where you when you fire.

Agreed - it's a lot better than previous holiday maps have been. In fact, it'd be great to see it stay in the game (maybe without night mode, once the New Year celebratory updates have concluded) - it's a good map for mid to long range weapon users, especially ^_^

I'll add more, it's dark, u can barely see the Enemy and u can't tell if Afew metres ahead it's a mammoth or a hornet, a titan or a wasp. Also, I guess it's fun but the points for Ctf if boring and full. One side clearly has the advantage over the other. The map was a complete fail I'm sorry to say

I think this map was designed for fast/dynamic/smart gameplay, you should be able to use the darkness as a cover, jump off ledges, use the many buildings as shields, and just make dashes, basically, I think that if your team controls the Christmas tree, then you'll win

I think that they should remove the big tree because im just crashing in it with the flag!But still great map for a holiday color(good camouflage).

Whenever I go on the bridge when Gold is falling, it falls in middle and opposite...

And I don't think it is hard to see :D
