Micro Upgrades Gone

I upgraded my Firebird in the upgrade section, then I upgraded it to M1, and I lost the Micro Upgrades. I have no idea if it is suppose to do that or not, and another thing, if it is suppose to go away what's the point of Micro Upgrades? Yes, they help early on in the game when you can't afford M1, M2, M3, but you waste the crystals that you used for the Micro Upgrades. Someone please explain this.

Yes. Once you upgrade equipment to the next modification, all micro-upgrades are reset. That is why its better to wait to micro-upgrade at M3, rather than at M0, M1, or M2.

If you upgrade at least two sections completely, like for example damage and range, you get a discount on the next m buy. If you do all micro upgrades, the discount will be higher. Like brandybabyxx said, after you buy a new m the upgrades go back to zero.

Do not upgrade until M3 if you want to save crystals. You can MU the first 1-2 steps per parameter if you want to though, they help the most.

I think that if you use ALWAYS a weapon MU can be a good stuff because the combo (weapon-hulls) improved makes you stronger and you can salve cry without upgrade others things. Obviously if your playing style is various so you like change weapon in relation to the necessity, MU is just a way to burn your cry!

It's not a glitch, when you upgrade your gun to a higher level you will lose the upgrades you have previously done, and a new set of upgrades will appear.
