QUESTION ON TWINS

Recommended Posts

Well, the twins doesn't fire bullets, but the openings look almost like they would fire at least .50 if they did fire bullets. I don't know that you can even buy ammo bigger than .50 though. I would guess maybe .8-1.00

You would have to figure out exactly how big the Twins are first, since Tankis props don't seem to have the right scale this may be difficult. I would use the door size in Irans maps because the Iran map seems to have good scale.

Then all you would have to do is measure the barrel opening.

You building a real Tanki tank? :D

Uh... think about this for a sec. Caliber is fraction of an inch, so a .50 cal round is half an inch in diameter - and that is a humongous bullet. Twins would be more like 2 feet in diameter at least (look at the size relative to small tanks). So, that would be 2*12= 24 caliber! 24 inch guns would be 50% larger than the 16" mounted guns used on battleships in WWII. Slightly improbable, no?

Despite the size of the barrel there is only a small bullet opening, that's what I'm basing my guess off.

I was using the enormous size of the bullets for my estimate, lol. In that case, I'd go with maybe 30mm (larger than .50)
