the first clue is charlie and the chocolate factory (which begins with a c) and the second clue is (or could be) 'the encantadas or enchanted isles' (which begins with a t) and i'm guessing it could be CTF and then something else

If a correct answer had been given, he would not have said anything - he wouldn't want to give it away, as you said. The fact that he's said that there were no correct answers previously means that he's telling the truth.
