Multing is the bitter side of this game.

  Dear moderators and the rest of Tanki stuff, i kindly ask you to show some understanding on my frustration about this issue, since it is quite reasonable. We spent time on this cool game, and i think it can be helpfull sometimes to show to the developers mostly but also everyone that is involved in this game, the good but also the 'bad' parts, so they can make it even better for everyone.

 

  So hello guys, since my main account is banned for showing my frustration about the same issue, on public. I decided to take a bit more official positions about this issue. We have so far never managed to kick mults in Sandbox CTF battles so far. And seems like some "smart" guys are aware of that issue....and try to win us in cheap ways. Well yesterday, we lost a 2hour battle from multing, i said it may have been a rare case but, EXACTLY the same thing happened today.....TWO TIMES. Unfortunately, i didn't took screenshots of the first battle, but after seeing the same thing happening for 2nd time, i decided to do something about it.

  

   In the spoiler below you can see how "beautifully" the battle was set up. Two mults (coincidence???) joining our battle one after another and just sitting there for ages, while our flags were flying from our base in a matter of a few seconds.

 

  I took the time and date together alongside with screenshots so you can see what and for how long, was going on there. Of course those guys had the nerves to mock us in the end. But the fault is not theirs, the fault is in the kicking system in such maps. It has to change sometime.

 

 You can see that i was gonna delete their names, but then changed my mind, cause i think mults should get punished as well for doing sabotage. So just check the time, which team was winning before they join and of course the final outcome alongside with their mocking in chat section.

 

 

  I remember another old battle, in which my team was winning by a safe flag difference, when close to the end of battle, suddenly a guy joined us....well guess what happened....every flag we were taking in the base, he was taking it and giving it back to the enemy team. So of course we lost that battle.

 

  The problem is not losing, but it is the way you lose. And clearly, noone can accept the fact of losing by mults.

So if you were in similar situations, please feel free to let us know. So the players and moderators can be aware next time, which would make it easier for them to handle it the right way.

First of all, my friend @gocac is not a mult. He played for your team and had a decent D/L. You got angry over the fact that he took your spot, while you were playing with your friend. Your teammates were calling him a mult... which he was not.

Well guess what, that didn't happen in this battle. You were actually the MULT until I decided to film you, and you left. Everyone played fairly. acknowledges that you multed. Please stop trying to win a false argument over a fair battle that you lost.

 

 

 

I believe you are calling timyr the second mult? Well, check the flags. It's 25-29. You don't think that you lost because one guy took longer than 10 seconds to load up a battle? It takes time to load up a battle, you just screenied a ton at the end to make it look like he multed for a long time.

 

Also, if you are saying that was a mult, why is he holding blue team flag in the picture??!

That shows that he was playing fairly for your team, and you are just making excuses about imaginary mults in order to pursue a point.

If you are going to say that he was taking flag back to blue team, actually... no. Red team base is that way <<<

Also, i am just stating the problem...those guys were multing. Doesn't necessarilly means YOU sent them. But they were just standing, thus sabotaging our team's efforts...which in its turn is called "multing".

Yep, that's what i mean. If your whole team votes in a 4v4 battle, thus 3 people, that wont be enough to kick the player. I think you need 5 votes...which means two enemies need to vote....something that would never happen when the fund is big.

Multing is a cowardly act, carried out by players who have no skill whatsoever...Players should utilize the kick vote, as it was intended, instead of tossing blatant accusations at one another. This doesn’t ‘fly’ in the upper ranks. When we find a “mult” their out, period. Don’t blame others for your teams inability to use the kick vote. And for those who think multing is O.K., you're in for a rude awakening. At the top, it’s quite common for Field Marshals, Commanders and Generalissmos to keep a “mult list”. This is no secret.

  I see what you sayin FCBM. I like CTF battles more, why should i leave them instead of trying to solve somehow this issue.

 

 And @monkeyburn, You are right at most parts but the kicking system...Imagine this: You are playing a 30 flag Sand CTF battle, at the point where your team is winning 27-23 one of your teammates leaves (for various reasons) and immediately a mult joins. With the current voting system in small maps, you would need minutes of typing (instead of playing) to kick that mult. Not to mention the case where his name is super big and complicated, not to mention that you need opponents to vote as well. I mean, you can't really expect enemy team to vote your mult when the fund is like 12k and they are back in score, right?

Hi fatal, I have the right to join any side (team) - blue or red. Any Battle with any players, it doesnt matter if there are friends or no friends on my team.

The important thing is that I play.

And your screens start from 23:52-23:53, just because I have a 0.25 D/L there is no need to accuse me of multing in 2 minutes!

And I went to change paints, I said brb lava remember? (Because freeze on opposite team)

 

If you dont like "losing" just play private battles with your friends.

  Hithere, i am not explicitly accusing you. I am talking about multing generally. Do you see me stating your name anywhere? And the screens are "spoilered". And as you can see, 2-3 minutes of multing by one player, then another 2-3  minutes of multing from a different one, changed the flag difference for us from winning to losing the battle.

  

The problem here is not you, but the thing that lets multing to appear. I don't play ever unfairly, and yet at some point you guys came, and just because we were in front, and the enemy had 2 players left (at the point), you assumed we were capping 4vs2 or something and starting flaming, which is not the case. I don't want to argue about that now, wont solve anything and it is pretty pointless if you want my opinion.

  

So leave that part aside and just imagine how it feels losing 12k fund by a mult, and if you would really like to help, try to suggest something that would truly contribute here. It doesn't matter if you lose or win, what matters is HOW that happens....

If you have any suggestions regarding the kick system please share it in Ideas and Suggestions. And if you have got any screens (in case of insults) or videos (showing mults) then please do post it in Violators section, before that please read the Violators section rules before starting a new topic. A topic like this will not add anything new to the community, we all know about mults and we all know that kick system can't be used in maps like sandbox. This topic will just cause arguments.
