But why did they put the full damage if it does not do full damage and also for it's reload time it should 1 kill hornet

 It does full damage, but you don't know when. It's like rolling the dice.

Take Rail M0 for instance. Without MUs the damage dealt with it ranges from 54 to 83. Between these 2 numbers there are 29 numbers. Including the 2 extremities (54 and 83) you have a total of 31 numbers. Imagine you're rolling a die with 31 sides with the numbers 54 to 83 written on it. Everytime you take one shot you are rolling the die. You may get lucky or not. You have a 1 in 31 chances of getting that max damage shot.

 

The more you upgrade Rail, the less likely you'll get the full damage shot. Because for each upgrade the bigger is the gap between maximum and minimum damage.

M0: gap of 29 numbers

M1: gap of 40 numbers

M2: gap of 46 numbers

M3: gap of 55 numbers

i have been killed in one shot 1 or 2 times. That is really rare, because i get hit by railguns (m2) Quite a bit

Firstly the damage is 100-150 the gun will never inflict 150 unless your lucky

Before MU's railguns pretty much would destroy tanks. I love rail and i been using it since wo 1 but it dosent feel the same anymore i barely 1 shot kill now.

That is very unlikely (that tanki is lying). Although, they are MUs, so not as trustworthy as an upgrade (ex: m1-m2) to me. It's true some may have theirs MUed, or may be drugging. But it cant be all of them, so when it gets to those that dont do these, it's bad luck. I used to one shot an m1 hornet with m1 rail (before MUs) all the time. The only thing would be that I would have to have contact with that other tank. Now I dont test that, so not sure if it still happens to me.

Just random I guess. Usually in the middle, but sometimes you get stuck with a lower damage, and sometimes you score with a higher damage. Just how it is.

happened to me once with Rail M2 vs. M1 Wasp, no protect paint. It SURVIVED my M2 Rail's 1st shot,

 

when does that EVER happen without MUs?! This was after MU update, so the noob MUST have been a buyer

Wow. I have tundra and M1 wasp(It has 100+hp. I upgraded it twice) M2 rails can't 1 hit me and I usually survive with half my hp when I get hit by M1 rails.

  Before the Mu's came out, I used to use Forester and M1 rail's would 1 hit me about half the time. 

Also once, I was on my noob account and I had an un-MU'ed M0 hornet and a M1 rail didn't 1 hit me. No rail protection nothing  :P

Dude - ever heard of rail protection? I occasionally survive m2 rail with m1 wasp forester (10% rail). Tundra has 30% rail protection, Dirty has 8 (before mu). So just because he survived your shot once doesn't mean he mu'd like crazy.

Nope. There's no critical point of shot or even has a chance to deal full damage. Think about it. Wouldn't it be too overpowered if Railguns could 1-shot a Hornet?

On my Sergeant account, I regularly 1 hit hornets. It feels strange but it's awesome.

 

But my rail gun does 63-93 damage. Good old MU's

seriously tanki, you guyz need to do something, with m3 railgun i cant kill m2 hornet having rustle paint--which has no rail protection, max damage of m3 mine is 180,

but saying that critical damage by smoky will get full effect, give m3 rail some more power..

@above: Did you MU your railgun? Because he could've MU'd his Hornet...
