getting blind in tanki

Hi forum,

 

When starting a battle in tanki, almost always I go "blind" after a few minutes playing. What happens is this:

 

* all buildings become invisible

* all tanks become invisible, though I can see them firing

* the only thing I can see is the background landscape and labels moving around (labels of user names above the tanks)

* I can see the flags positions.

* I can move around and shoot, but it is as if I'm blind.

* After some minutes, usually after I've died, it turns back to normal, but it also may last quite a long time before it gets back to normal.

 

This is very inconvenient, because you cannot see the enemy tanks, nor the buildings and roads where to ride.

 

Anyone has experienced this?

 

I'm using mozilla firefox on a win xp machine, 32 bits, 4 Gb memory

 

Any tips, sollutions?

Try switching everything off in graphic settings

At least turn off the Dynamic Lighting! I use ALL the other graphic settings, certainly use anti-aliasing if possible, gives a "smoother" picture for the eye.

 

The Dynamic Lighting looks nice, but all these extra (too bright) flashes could have a bad effect on a person who is sensitive for this.

I'm playing too much and am going blind - keep falling off ledges and hitting trees and getting flipped over
