What are you guys ideas about this? I recon that it gets anoying that im always zoomed right in, and its not accurate. Why no let us control our zoom? with like e and d?

So then when we see a target we can zoom in for a good shot

There is a downside. The slow reload.

Reload time is not a downside. Reload time is proportional to the power. Rail is strong, long reload (downside - warmup time). Shaft is stronger, longer reload (downside - inaccuracy). Even then - the fact that you can sniper aim vertically tips the scale way to the pro side.

^ Reload is an issue if you stay put - your a sitting duck - I can approach a shaft easily between shots and kill 'em, I would agree that it needs some faster lateral movement in sniper mode because you cannot keep up with the slowest tank in the game.

We aren't talking about hulls here though. Plenty of skilled Shafters mount them on Hornets, and manage to display some excellent skills with that combo.

yes agreed - I use that combo sometimes  but still find it at a disadvantage unless its long range .

This idea is good. Shaft needs some changes, the reload and shooting time before and after physics is proportionally the same. If shaft can control its sniping mode then there would be a radical change in the gameplay, a change which i would love to see. :)

Shaft has inaccuracy? Rail has less accuracy since it dosent have a scope. Even then, they are both accurate if used correctly.

Well if you notice, when zoomed close up, it's quite shaky. Sometimes when Shafts aim at me, they miss - and I doubt it's their fault, since usually these are good Shafters - it's just at the last moment the scope twitches in one direction and misses.

It does twitch a lot at the end. But if you learn to control it, you can aim very good and not miss as much. Anyway, you cant afford to miss when the enemy gets too close, or you will be reloading during the time you get destroyed.
