Viking M3 vs Dictator M3: no sense

@Lentovni: Playing in test server isn't a good way to see if things are OP or not. . .do note that in test server, people spend wildly, and you're not going up against the same things you would in real servers. In addition to that, did you MU Dictator, and buy extremely tough paints? If so, then no wonder you'd feel as if it were Overpowered. It costs hell of a ton of crystals. So guess what? You get what you pay for.

 

As for Dictator Kit. So what? You get Viking M2 at Warrant Officer if you get the kit. Furthermore, if you read the news, Kits will be switching in and out. So this kit will be leaving in the future and being replaced by something else. And also, in the future maybe there is a Viking M3 kit.

And. . .Viking M3 shouldn't be increased in Health. When I said stronger, I meant in other aspects such as maneuverability or a slight speed increase.

 

Remember, M2 Mammoth has 301 health, and at M3 it is unlocked at the very darn last rank, Generalissimo. You want M3 Viking to have 300+ Hp when MU'd? That's unbalanced.

 

So, how much more health are you talking about? If it were just 10~15 more Hp, then I wouldn't mind. But keep in mind that there should be balance in here. Tip one part of the scale, and you have to re-adjust everything. So if Tanki makes Viking, then you can bet that Dictator will be stronger too.

 

Really, if you don't like Viking, then don't get it? If you really fancy about Dictator that much, get it! And if you say ''Oh what about the Kit'' then I say again, get it if you think it's that powerful. And since you put the Kit in the conversation, how many people do you think actually buy that kit? A lot? Hell no. That's one expensive kit. So you think everyone can buy it?

 

I've seen Dictator M3's in battle, and in Test server. I've got to say it is strong, but not in need of nerfing or anything. And nerfing doesn't have to be lowering its base stat. Increasing the stat of other competitors such as Viking, etc. can also nerf it because then it wouldn't be able to compete anymore. That's what happened to Mammoth.

You know a lot of things, I'm not going to deny that... I'm only saying that it's not fair that Dictator M3 has more HP and more Speed...

And yes, it would be great if Viking had 15 more HP than it has now, it would make them match more.

Tbh, Viking doesn't need it. I play with M3 Viking all the time with Generalissimo's (Pro battles, not drug wars) and I think it is one of the better tanks. The Power is what makes all the difference.

Pitting Viking and Dictator as the same base stats would be a terrible addition to the game. With the MU's, Dictator wouldn't be able to compete with Viking at all. It would be unbalanced, VERY unbalanced.

 

And you're totally ignoring the Rank requirements. . . what's the point of getting Dictator if the base stats are almost the same as Viking, but it requires such a high rank to purchase, not to mention the MU's would make Viking much stronger than Dictator?

 

And to add to that, I think I know what you're thinking. For the Non-buyers out there who choose to go with Viking M2 and can't sum up enough crystals to MU it and crap, it would be ''fair'' to them. Guess what? It's not. :) Buyers would be more OP than ever, thus unbalancing, AND not to mention it was your choice to buy it, so you must take responsibility, or in other words, take the consequences. We are NOT trying to create the perfect Hull!

 

You should really think about what you're saying, instead of just looking at what's in hand at first glance.

Really, you just have to get used to it. I use my Wasp, and do great. The expected answer for Wasp, would be:

• Oh it's too weak

If you are a Viking user, don't give up Hope and say just because Dictator's stats look better, it is a better hull and Viking sucks. What? Hornet has stats that look more appealing, but does that make it a better Hull? NO.

 

So really the stats do make sense, you just have to look in-dept.

In the eyes of a Railgunner, Firebird, Smoky, and Thunder. . . I have to tell you that Dictator's extreme volume makes it a very vulnerable target. The Thunder's splash gets at it easy, the Smoky can hit it since it's so tall, the Railgunner can nip it right on the edge, thus spinning it around, and DPS weapons can get the affects on it easy when used right.

 

Not to mention Dictator is very, very flippable when compared to something as solid as a Viking.

 

Please, stop exaggerating about Dictator's power. .

I have both of them with full MUd and uesed them hundreds times,I can tell you Viking M3 definitly much better than Dictator M3.

The best choice of hulls:light-Hornet,medium-Viking,heavy-Titan

I bought viking m2 for its awesome hp not for its speed. When I want speed I go use hornet,I was planning to get viking m3 next rank but now I am even more perplexed.Before this update the difference in hp between viking m3 and dictator m3 was just 13.5 but now its 40.5,I am not against changes but why did this difference have to be so big?I dont see any balance in that.Some people say a fully mued viking surpasses a dictator in Hp while we all know that unless your a heavy buyer it is practically impossible to achieve that.I am dissappointed with this update anyway.

This is my exact situation as well. I bought M2 Viking because it was a relatively strong medium hull, and now they've practically swapped all of the medium hull's stats around, making Viking weaker and faster ._.

Wait without MU's the difference is 40? Wow. The balance is that for such a big hull, dictator was too light  , too fast and too unstable. It was like a giant wasp. But now it has is denser so it's more stable, heavier, slower and stronger. That makes it more of a Viking so they put dictators stats in Viking basically. Hunter was fast and 'Huntery' if you will so Viking got it.
