New maps look cool but I'm used to drifting around the old maps... So I don't think map changes are necessary right now.

Personally, I would rather new maps come out instead.... I don't really like the way the "improved maps look".  However, everyone has their own opinion.  I just feel like there was nothing wrong with the maps now, so why change them?
