Reporting a player, do you think...

There are no options to reporting a player, i just thought it would make the staffs job easier to identiying violators

 

There are violations which frustratingly cannot be reported, like a player helping another team win etc what do you guys think?

Also, there is a way to report a violator. You can PM the Chat moderation Administrator with a pic. Remember, it should be a FULL screen shot, not only of the violator. If you're going to report a hacker, post a topic in the Violators section with a FULL screenshot. ;)

Another important thing. If you're in a battle, you can call for the aid of a Moderator by typing '/vote (nameofoffenderhere)'. If enough players do this and a Mod is online, they will come to the rescue; just a side note - if a Mod arrives and the player doesn't seem to be violating any rules, those who falsely reported that player can be punished.

yeah eddybegood is quite busy as many PM him. You can PM  @Yele . She will give a reply in short sometimes long if she is busy. Or PM @FlipSquad as he is the violator section head.

Well, Eddy is the most active Chat moderator in the forum(my opinion). I've reported tons of violations and always gotten the quickest reply by him. So, I wrote what would be best ;)

What if you aren't in the battle. Like if two people are playing one on one DM in a map like island with 100-0 score. That's power levelling, but a person is required to post a video to report the same.How can he do something about it then?

There are no 1000 moderators who are always available in all 40 servers 24/7, that's why sometimes it happens

Post the link of the battle in chat, together with "powerleveling" next to it, and if there's a mod on the server, he'll check it

its only a game, people play for all sorts of reasons, if some want to waste the time hindering other players, do what i do, change sides and chase the prick...

* punishing players who report violaters, and how * would a moderator know if it was a false report if there was more than one person reporting the violator, what if the violator behaves him/herself when a mod shows up, what happens then, ya going to punish those people who reported it, whats the use of * mods if they going to come in and punish someone when the offender leaves or starts playing nice, *

The rule was made because some players vote players just for fun. The outcome is a waste of mods' time, while they could actually have employed this time checking a real violation.

Moderators know which reports are false because, guess what, it's their job, and they deal with violators all the time.

If the moderator doesn't find anything to ban for, he'll just ask why the players voted. There's a slight difference between players saying "Player was sabotaging, now he's behaving good" and "Idk I had nothing to do". It's for this second kind of call that the ban comes. The other is not an abuse and is a normal case which can happen in battles.

Before saying random stuff, and shouting at bans being a limitation for players opinion, maybe YOU should know how stuff work, instead of basing defamatory posts on your opinions, which couldn't be farther from real facts.

We are waiting some changes of this option. Many players don' t know that the mods don't see the cronology of the battle and of the chat, they don't have any power to make come the goldbox. So u have to be sure that the violation of the rules happens in this time and only in that case use the command /vote otherwise u risk to take a ban for abuse of command vote. if anybody in the battle uses swearings, tries to cheat to have your password, spam, fishing etc. u have to make a screenshot and send it in pm to the mods of the chat.

Hi everyone,I just want to ask why some players are reporting other players during battle with no reason?? it just happened this last 2 days I was reported twice but did nothing wrong and in one of the battles I got reported as did my teammate for no reason whatsoever..it looks some players don't accept to lose a battle..i don't know but its annoying,thanks..

No that's not true as I was in both battles the top player in my team..so,I don't think was because of that..i have that teammate who could prove that..Not sure but probably was someone from the opposition team...anyway

Even tough I remember 1 battle was sandbox map and I got 1100 crystals and the player in second from my team got more or less 600 crystals..So,that just shows I wasn't  playing that bad ;)
