I think it will be fair enough if tankionline gives 20k crystals to all the participants who spent a lot of their time, in addition to some supplies 

But to let it end like this has turned the contest into a sad one and not a funny one as it was planned

There were a lot of simple contests in which all participants won 20 k crystals, then what about this contest? it took a lot from players' time and efforts.

Mine was also nice (at bottom of the page: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=188069&page=23&do=findComment&comment=3383926 ), as I've spent serious loads of time on it, made it in Stargate theme, with every detail correct. It's Military Snapshot; the Team just returning after battle in 'Tanki-world', which fit's with the meeting the Tankionline staff is having in real when the photo is taken.

 

Contest rules were for looking for:   a funny picture + originality, humor and quality.

Although the 3 winners had a funny aspect, Winner 2 had no photoshop quality.

Winner 3; creative thought but too small to see anything good.

Winner 1; originality and a bit of quality, yes, but as for funny, it's not so original.

 

However we must factor in the different cultural aspect thinking of the Jury.

In my eyes, the above photo of AndreKilla is the definite Winner to me, it is soooo beautiful, classy, stylish and fun !  No others can match Andrekilla's quality-work.

(What a coincidence though, all 3 winners are Ranking GENERAL + ACTIVE CONTRIBUTORS to the Tankionline game functionalities as to how it functions today.)

 

I would love to hear everybody's opinion, even if you feel I'm wrong or anything. Thanks already.

I honestly feel he should be placed first, and I do feel bad for him.

There are limited things you can do with an image (photo);

change backgrounds, change/add faces/people, change/add objects. Even add texts, [but in my opinion that mostly reduces the overall quality of the image].

 

I think, an image should speak the story by itsself, as the original 3 images did:

1 - shows staff in a(n unofficial) meeting

2 - staff busy with some strategic point-of-view stuff

3 - employees in the rest-and-relax room taking a break

 

The whole purpose of the contest is centered about TANKIONLINE, so I guess that's kinda what we have to work with:

Make it Tanki-based and then as creatively, beautiful, stylish and classy as possible, and throw-in some 'fun-sauce'.   ;)

 

Well, I guess; Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder, so that kinda says it all as far as I'm concerned.   :ph34r:
