Micro-Upgrade Speed-Up Cost

Why does the cost of micro-upgrade speed-up not go down as time passes. For example, if speed-up for 5 hours costs 5000 crystals, then speed-up of 1 hour, if I have waited for 4 hours, should cost a proportionate amount, i.e. 1000 crystals. Otherwise, it is frustrating, but out of principle I will not pay that same amount, if I have already waited for many hours, and I will not play with less good equipment. Therefore, all I can do, as I will now, is not play the game.

In my opinion speed-ups are a waste, just upgrade before you go to bed. But yeah it probably would be a good idea to do decrease cost as time passes.

I generally do, but this morning I began an upgrade which takes 9.5 hours. Now home, and am keen to play. I think the upgrades are good, but the time should reflect in the cost.

This is true with the frist upgrades, the late ones have a duration of 22 hours or even more, surpassing the 24 hours.

I had this same question some weeks ago, so I asked and I was told that the feature was considered but then refused. It's not planned to be added later either.
