I just wanted to see people's thoughts and opinions of the game Tanki Online. I didn't see any other topic like this using search.
I've been away for a while (but still getting my daily bonus, no worries :P). I thought it was time for me to leave Tanki for good, but I might be wrong. :D
Share your opinion! If you would like to add suggestions, go ahead. But constructive criticism please!  ;)

7, nice game, could be improved a lot.

Forum- 8, a pretty nicely organized forum, with very Nice MODS. Seymon Kirov also does a great job as a Manager.

All you people who are being such blighters about our community - just leave. If you hate the forum, why are you still here? And why do you have over a thousand posts? Either stick around and make some good conversation and help people, or forget about the forum and play tanki.

I agree completely with the points raised here. However, the forum is a lot worse than it once was in my opinion, and so it seemed he was showing his annoyance at the current situation it is in. Not only does a forum need active and helpful members to be successful, but it also requires good discussion-encouraging management, and a proper but fair and professional application of the rules. That's just my personal opinion on what a great forum consists of - whether that applies to the Tanki forum is a matter of opinion, which should not be discussed here ^_^

You're right, but that's beside the point.

 

I have nothing to compare it to, and that's both a good and bad thing. I wasn't around when the forum was at its "golden age", but I do know what a good forum looks like, so I know what to work towards.

 

My point is that if people are unhappy, they can keep their negativity to themselves. I think it's completely unnecessary to constantly express contempt for something or someone. It's ok to try be constructive, and it's even ok to make a public complaint once in a while to pass on the right idea, but some people just take it too far.

 

In this particular case, what was the point of blatantly stating that he rated the forum at 1? Is it constructive? No. It doesn't even give anyone a clue why, not to mention that he keeps saying that everywhere at every opportunity. Why not just vote anonymously like most of the others did?

Yes, I do see your point :P Though we do have to consider the following question: why are some forum members constantly expressing contempt in an unconstructive manner? The answer is because there is no proper system of giving constructive criticism/complaints, and so it would seem some forum members have taken to trolling/displaying contempt instead. And trust me, I could literally write a book on everything which needs improving/changing with the forum from experience, if I thought it would actually be considered. Simple as.

 

(EDIT) Let's take this particular conversation to PM, before we metaphorically 'cross the line' in terms of the rules. I have no desire to violate any of them.

well i voted 9 cause there should be more turnaments for peoples without team and clan. And tanki should do turnamenst on less know maps like red alter noise other is almost best. Just waiting for ability to change guns and hulls in battle.

 

about forum i would give 5 or 6 itis well organised and staff is nice but it is kinda dead
