Dictator vs Viking

Hello fellow tanki players,

 

Ive alwayse asked myself the question why would you upgrade Viking OVER Dictator? The only reason i see is that you can upgrade it to M3 earlier than dictator wich is upgradable m3 at one of the last ranks...

 

Dictator vs Viking

 

M0 - Viking would win in protections vs Dictator with 15 points wich is comparable with 1 Ricochet M0 Shot at close distance, Dictator has a huge advantage in speed.

 

M1 - Dictator 164.2 prot. 80.0 max speed. vs Viking 165.3 prot. 59.0 max speed.

In protections Viking wins vs Dictator but the difference is so small that i would say they have the same amount of protections to make it easier. The speed difference is pretty significant.

 

M2 - Dictator 191.0 prot (exactly the same as Titan M1) 86.8 max speed. (Almost the same as Hornet M1)vs.  Viking 220.6 prot. 71.9 max speed.

Viking has 30 protections more than Dictator wich is pretty huge. Dictator has much more speed than Viking on the other side.

 

M3 - Dictator 255.2 prot. 103.2 max speed. vs. Viking 242.7 prot. 77.1 max speed.

Dictator wins with protections and also with speed. Also imagine how fast 103.2 is, Hornet M3 is 110.1.

 

Conclusion, Dictator is faster than Viking in all stages. On health Viking wins M0-2 but not by that much. And at M3 it falls off. The only problem with Dictator is that you can buy the M3 version when you are Generalisimo wich is 1.400.000 points. So that is maybe a small problem.

 

Note: i dident look at things like weight, power, and now im typing this i see i screwed up with the max speed... but im not going to change this because it doesnt matter that much. Its still good to look to compare.

Viking is better in his own way listen when a viking pushes a dictator the dictator shoots over viking but here is a con about viking its very low higher tanks like dictator gets the gold box earlier conclusion viking and dictator are both good in their own way

If you look at micro upgraded stats, Viking comes out on top I think. Depends on map- say on sandbox dictator might be good since you can shoot tanks above you easily. Also dictator just looks a bit bad

If dictatpor looks bad, viking makes me vomit.

 

For sniping in say fort knox, seeing over the battlements is a big advantage, but for the lowest roofed tunnelsd in subway, you can see the level ABOVE in dictator, but viking you have a nice view of the tunnel. ( note that last example wasa with thunder, if guns affect you veiw). Overall, Dictator (usually) comes out on top. (<That's funny right there.LOL)

yup if you max micro-upgrade viking is better than dictator m0-m3 it has much more health and speed and grad but dictator is too large and not good in tiny places however they are both good on their places and in their qualities,
