I'm in fact surprised this has not been made as a topic already, but since it hasn't and I'm huge NFL fan I thought I'd make it. With one and a half weeks to go (February 2nd is the date) here we are.

The Superbowl is a huge National Football League (NFL) event that appears each year even internationally. Commercials beg to be on the Superbowl, Americans of all ages can't wait, and the Superbowl has pushed the line beyond American's borders. The NFL typically claims the number of people able to watch the game is around 1 billion in over 200 countries. 2012's Superbowl XLVI holds the record for total number of U.S. viewers, attracting an average U.S. audience of over 111 million, and an estimated total of nearly 167 million (worldwide), making the game the most-viewed television broadcast of any kind in American history. (The previous two sentences were taken from Wikipedia, though both have sources)

The Superbowl typically has a lot of hype, and this year is no exception. The Denver Broncos (as the AFC champion) have a very superb offense, the arguably the best in league history. Peyton Manning, also arguably the best Quarterback in league history, leads them and the Broncos shed records in both most amount of points scored (606) and most amount of touchdowns thrown/received (55) this season. Their better than average defense also doesn't put them in too much of a hole. Meanwhile the Seattle Seahawks (as the NFC champion) are exactly the opposite. They have a superb defense, and while they didn't break any records, their defense has been one of the best in a long time. With all-star Cornerback and Safety Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas, the Seahawks lead the league in interceptions by a huge margin of 8. That equipped with a great defensive line is what makes this defense great. Just as the Broncos have a better than average defense, the Seahawks have a better than average offense with Running Back Marshawn Lynch being 6th in the league in yards and tied for first in the league for touchdowns. He will have a competition though, as the Broncos defense was the 7th best in terms of rushing yards allowed. Along with all that, this Superbowl is played in cold New Jersey where not only weather, but wind could be a potential factor.

If you have any questions regarding the game you may feel free ask them here ;) If you think I have something to add you may PM me or also ask them here!

So my question to you guys is, who will win and what's the score? I will decipher the top 3 (top 5 or more if this topic gets so many posts) closest predictions after the Superbowl. You may change your prediction as many times as you want up to the Superbowl's starting date. Predictions that were edited/made after the Superbowl starts will be disqualified. Multiple predictions will also be disqualified.

My prediction is that the Denver Broncos win the game 24-20. What's yours?

I've made a poll for those that are too shy, don't want to post, or just generally like to have a poll

i predict the broncos win 2-0

and the richard sherman thing was funny lul

2-0? Two touchdowns to 0, thus meaning the final score is 14-0? Or two field goals to 0 thus meaning the final score is 6-0? Or litterally the score 2-0 which would mean the Broncos only scored a "Safety" all game and the Seahawks scored nothing on offense as well.

And yes it was lol! He later apologized about it in an essay which was interesting.

Broncos are going to win. They have the offense, and Seattle has the defense. The broncos will score at least 20 points, so it's up to the Seahakws offense to score a lot of points against Denver defense if they want to win.
