I'll give you a detailed answer.

1) Realism> I love tank games. I like simulation ones best like T-72 or Tiger Vs T-34 because they are the most realistic possible and each shot can affect a certain aspect of the tank like turret malfunction, gun destroyed, treads broken, engine overheat, etc. Unfortunately almost no one plays those so multiplayer is nonexistent and that was a big let down.

Of course Tanki does not have have this realism. Hell, the tanks aren't even real but the new physics was a big breakthrough towards that goal, though it still needs some tweaking specially when someone spawns under you and you're completely flipped over.

2) Multiplayer> Well, it's a 100% multiplayer game, that's already a big step forward. It could have a small singleplayer mode for a bit of practice for newcomers, I think but I don't think it's that necessary.

3) Customization> One of the top reasons I was attracted to this game. You can choose your tank, paint and hull at will and we can build at our own liking. That's one of the main things I love in games. What would really glue me to Tanki is the ability for detailed customization, small parts that you can attach just for esthetics or maybe to improve the tank. Best of all would be to build our own tank from scratch with a number of parts that we had to buy. Unfortunately, a tank sandbox game with matching graphics and gameplay is still nonexistent. If it did, I would abandon Tanki and go play that one for sure.

If that's asking too much, well just make more hulls, paints and guns to enable more different combos.

4) Graphics> The graphics of Tanki are in my opinion in the following region, displayed by the O:

                                    Too crappy-------o-------o-------o--O-----o-------o-------o-------Too fancy

By too crappy, I mean bad resolution texture, pixelated and lack of antialising, light and others

By too fancy I give you examples such as the most recent Call Of Duties or Battlefields. There's just too much information for our eyes and that gets you confused. I think it can still be improved but not too much. It's pretty much there for it's type of game.

5) Gameplay> I think Tanki sits right between tank simulation games and arcade games such as World Of Tanks. One of the main reasons for that is: There are no cross-airs. That, ladies and gentlemen is another of the main reasons why I like tanki! No freaking cross-airs! You need a bit of skill to take the shot! (for some guns of course). 3rd person games and no cross-airs is very rare nowadays. The gameplay is pretty straightforward. It's simple, easy and enjoyable. I would just vote for a bit more realism for how can a shot affect a certain part of tanks body for a bit more gameplay complexity but other than that it's quite good.

So yeah, that's my time. I would definitely vote for an improvement on point 3) above all others at the moment

Hello :)

1) The continuous updates.

2) Meeting people from around the world

3) Tournaments and championships "Cybersport"

4) I think Tanki is a unique game, since you control everything in your game and you play vs real players.

You don't contol the Tank, You are the Tank. :D ;) Edited by maykito

I have MANY reasons why I play Tanki Online.

1) There are so many various hulls, guns and paints that it's just COOL - no other way to explain it (although it would be pretty damn good if you would be able to change hull/gun/paint IN a battle without leaving it and losing score).

2) The gameplay of this game is much better than many downloadable games (I played World Of Tanks, and four sure - Tanki is much better: no download, great graphics [in my slow computer not  :( ], no campaign but a DAMN GOOD MULTIPLAYER). I'm still debating with myself what Multiplayer is better - Tanki Online or The Last Of Us multiplayer.

3) The collecting of the crystals is hard (I struggled very much for my 106k crystals), but it's just fun - no other way to say it.

4) Tanki is DAMN ADDICTING!!!

Such an addictive game,

this game is one of the best games I've ever played, you get to meet new friends, participate in contests, try different weapons.

This game is simply brilliant, no game EVER got me as addicted as this game.

Everyone (Mostly) is nice and helpful, sure you have your ups and downs in this game, but you learn from them, in order to be the best.

You can join teams, clans. Participate in different contests, play with your friends....

I simply love this game.

- Because its easy to play ( could not see me putting in weeks/months into learning how to play a game, at this stage of my life)

- Fun

- Goals (ranking, getting new equipment - something new to work for each level)

- Friends (can become a very social time playing tanki when you play with the same group of people)

- To kill time (battles of 15mins or 5+ hours can be a great way to kill time)
