This topic is to discuss your passion for music, particularly for those of you who would like to perform for others online through skype! All you need is a microphone, or a camera (only if you wish to go on cam - though its entirely unnecessary.) If you think you're talented and would like to play your instrument or sing for others, please leave some basic information about you below, as well as your skype username and I will add you to the skype group! (For privacy reasons, feel free to send your skype to me via. PM)

 

I'll start off to give you all an idea.

 

Age:19

Instruments: Piano/singing

Lessons: Never

Playing for: 5 years

Performed publicly: Yes, many times in different venues and public areas, some with up to 200 people! Only piano though, never sang in public... maybe soon though :)

Lessons: First two from being taught in school by band teachers for about 5 years. Took Guitar lessons for about a year.

I've studied music theory since I was 4, as well as piano. Guitar is self-taught, and I play it a lot more often. I've played in a couple bands, I've performed in dozens of shows (some for over 10k people), and I really want to get into creating covers, and generally maintaining a music-related YT channel.

Instruments: I am a violinist. I plan to get into an electric bass at some point in the future, followed by a guitar if I enjoy that. Drums are somewhere in the back of my head, but I figure I'll save my parent's ears. 
Lessons: I joined my school district's orchestra program. They taught me there and it is also mainly where I play. Was in a regional Youth Symphony at one point as well. 
Playing for: Lets see... I think this is my fifth year now. 
Preformed Publicly: Yeah, but always in a group format. Never in a solo form or as an individual performer. In a group, I have played in somewhere between 15 and 20 concerts. Something like that. 
Skype: I'll pass, because I am honestly not great, but I just thought it would be fun to talk a little about what I do.
