DM is better than CTF

True indeed, I prefer a heavier hull (Viking-Thunder) myself too for DM (depends also on the size of the Map etc.)

The only thing I wanted to mention that I do see (and fight...) those Hornet-combo 's in Polygon DM and if skilled can do very well!

Especially the Isida M2/3 is OP in my opinion (a bit too much for my taste....)

 

You do see Hornet combined with Thunder too, but I don 't think that is an ideal combo for at least a Polygon DM.

For TDM and CTF it 's a different story: than this combo rocks.

hornet+thunder is cool,i can easily win and face up some noobs freeze druggers in DM :P

Well, saw you play and I believe you, but I do not think that it counts for the vast majority of players!

To put it otherwise, I much rather fight against a Hornet, than a Viking equipped with Thunder. ;)

 

Put an evenly skilled Viking-Thunder against a Hornet-Thunder in a DM and I am quite sure that the

speed in most cases will not prevail above the much higher HP of the Viking.

CTFs, definitely. I actually tend to avoid DMs. The only situation in which I like DMs is if there are suitable camping spots, and under that logic, I might as well play a TDM instead. As for short-ranged weapons, I'd only ever use them as part of a team. They just don't work as effectively when alone, IMO. CTFs are easier to perform better in, more strategic, and involve elements of teamwork and co-operation. I guess I'm just more of a team player.

once i was in a TDM,a team won with like 10 kills advance against my team,and i received 3 x less than the leader from enemy and we have similar score!!

i throught TDM is more democratic :angry:

I never play DM, wayyy to many stolen kills and drug wars. If one person drugs, they can easily take over the leaderboard. This causes other people to drug back and ruin the game. Drugging isn't much of a problem in CTF. It is usually when people have the flag and are desperately trying to capture.

in CTF you find the most hardcore druggers,in DM the things are more peacefully,without druggers(usualy)

Well, I can only say that you play really different battles than the most of us: on which server are those CTF games

i always find some druggie in a battle CTF,i rarely find in DM a drugging noob

because I encounter the same nooby druggers in CTF 's and luckily only a very few in DM 's.

depends on which weapon are you using;

if you're using isida, CTF is better,

if you're using thunder, DM is better.
